  1. Players: Anyone who played at Kentucky, as I am a huge UK fan. I also tend to pull for former Bama players to do well, because I live in AL and watch a lot of their games with friends who are big Bama fans. Teams: (1) Steelers. Love their history and uniforms; (2) Titans. Grew up in TN and Nashville is only 3 hrs from me now; and (3) anyone playing the Pats.
  2. Kelvin Joseph (CB, Kentucky) Rondale Moore (WR, Purdue)
  3. Awful selection. Slow, stiff DE with no suddenness or explosion, so we take him ahead of one of the most explosive and athletic ILB’s in the draft and who is still on the board (JOK). Complete *****-the-bed pick that screams “*****, everyone we wanted is gone, so let’s go full-Buffalo and draft another D-lineman.” Very uninspiring. Arguably the worst Buffalo pick since McCargo.
  4. Just curious, why not? What’s not to love about him? He damn near has Henry size but with better wiggle, great explosiveness/athleticism, same speed snd incredibly high IQ and leadership qualities. When people say they’re not high on Harris and they don’t see him as an elite prospect, my immediate assumption is: 1. You haven’t watched him play much; or 2. You likely are a Big 10 fan and have bias against Bama and the SEC
  5. I want Najee Harris or Jamin Davis at 30. Davis would add the athletic LB who doubles as a pass rusher and can drop into coverage incredibly well, which is what we need to add to the D in order to beat Mahomes.
  6. Sure, if you’re applying analytics to evaluate players’ worth, but there is a significant difference in value in having a gamechanging RB like Henry and an average back like the guys we have. There’s also a big difference in the culture with the players who come out of Bama and places like Clemson, where they tend to be softer snd letdown in the NFL, especially at the skill positions. Harris is a generational back with elite size, strength and explosiveness, whereas ETN is a smaller guy in the mold of what we already have on the roster.
  7. Najee Harris is twice the back as ETN. He’s significantly bigger (6’2” 230 vs. 5’10” 215), equally as athletic (if not moreso) and is a phenomenal leader and lockerroom guy. I don’t know how many more soft skill position guys from Clemson some fans need to see struggle in the NFL and specifically in Buffalo before they realize players from Bama are tougher, better prepared and generally (not always) tend to fare really well.
  8. The number of people here who are losing their minds over a Slot/ST/RB hybrid guy from Clemson we picked in the 6th round is hilarious. Too many of you get hung up on measureables instead of looking at football skills. Ray Ray is a really good football player, especially for a 6th round pick. Umm, he didn't get into the "open field" until 50 yards after the catch, when he had expended a ton of energy bobbing and weaving his way through defenders and cutting back across the field. To come away from watching that play and use it to say he's slow is silly.
  9. AJ is a sure fire leader and very talented passer. He also has a very high football IQ. I watched literally every one of his games at Bama vs P5 opponents, start to finish while he was there, and I can tell you he just has it. No one, and I mean NO ONE, was going to get the chance to play ahead of Dalton in Cindy after those idiots overpaid him like they did. I urge you guys to be positive and excited for AJ. He has been waiting and preparing for this opportunity for a long time.
  10. The people calling a 4.5 guy "slow" are cracking me up. First, a laser-timed 4.5 is absolutely cooking. A guy running a 4.5 vs a guy in the mid-4.4's is not much different in gamespeed, yet fans (and too many GM's) lose their minds and clamor for the 4.45 guy over a 4.5 guy. Second, Ray Ray has been timed significantly lower than the 4.53 everyone is throwing around. Reportedly a sub-4.4 at some point. Third, if you have ever bothered to watch much Clemson football you would know he's an absolute playmaker and is one of those guys who just plays fast and with quick-twitch.
  11. Absolutely love this pick. Big time value for the next-to-last pick of the draft. I would almost bet my mortgage he makes the roster and contributes, and significantly so by year 2. I don't know who some clowns on the boards would prefer to see us get in the late 7th.
  12. Anyone who doesn't like this pick is just looking to B word for the sake of bitching. This kid can flat out ball, and he plays mad as a wet hornet. Perfect Nickel DB and will be a terror on ST. I hate the previous pick, but love this one.
