  1. I agree 100% I think Anderson will really help him out at least on the aspect of reading coverages and certain things and Palmer helped Allen a lot in a short amount of time since college it might not show but his footwork is actually way better. So as long as josh Allen doesn’t quit on himself it’ll be a long road but he can get a lot better. He was my least favorite as well but now we are here so wtf
  2. I agree some people need to let out their frustrations and give people their thoughts. Especially this season because things are all over the place...of course the OP can’t just throw in the towel every other week but he definitely should express his thoughts about josh Allen ever week positive or negative whenever and however he wants...that is literally what a message board is for
  3. This is what you have to do...just have to hope that he can pull it all together because his reads, progressions, footwork, mental clock, and ability to keep his eyes down field is a lot to fix in one season so you might have to hold on tight for more then a year. I am not a huge Josh Allen fan but I do now believe that he has the correct mental makeup discipline and determination to fix it all in due time and be good....so as long as he doesn’t give up on himself nor do the coaches gives up on him I think he can be our franchise QB but I also believe it will be longer then a year. That said we will be a much better football team in 2019 so we’ve all been bills fans our entire life. What’s a couple more years of waiting and let’s be honest if he doesn’t work out and this whole process gets started over again in 3 4 years is anyone gonna stop being a bills fan? No not at all
  4. Put him on the right side where he won’t get bullied all game and he might work out except for this week of course where it doesn’t matter what side he is on he is gonna get bullied
  5. They don’t count lol we were good then I’m talking about current players
  6. Robert woods marquise Goodwin even Sammy Watkins Kelvin Benjamin was better before he got here Chris Hogan I could keep going....but it is ridiculous that our offenses have been so bad for so long that we’ve made good players look average...hopefully josh Allen breaks this trend in the next few years
  7. I had to stop reading he has been inaccurate his entire football life so far he is learning to adjust his footwork and isn’t able to do that while the scheme is to move the pocket...he is getting a lot better he isn’t hurt he is inaccurate and that is the FACT
  8. Big Ben isn’t as athletic and has way better pocket awareness and movement
  9. Agreed he will have to do more but he isn’t ready. Daboll is going to have to devise a gameplay that is quick reads and he is going to have to create a plan where Allen not necessarily has to read the entire field but maybe inside the safeties so instead of cutting the field in half by moving the pocket he would cut it in half horizontally if that makes sense to you but this would require our slot RBs and TEs to be more involved in the game and throwing way more but hopefully they can create a gamrplwb game here this is his reads and eventually Allen will begin to piece things together. I mean at the end of the day it all comes down to Allen and how well he can process information and translate that into football. He can say all the right things and have the best teachers(not saying he does or doesn’t) but if he doesn’t get he just doesn’t get it then they are !@#$ed and out of a job in a few years
  10. I agree but I really think they thought the way peterman looked in preseason and it being his 2nd year that he was gonna give them a good season...why else get ready rid of McCarron. Who I believe would have preformed better then both our current QBs while also giving Allen a little of a Vet presence to learn from. Getting rid of McCarron was a huge mistake but it goes back to this coaching staff conceding the fact of winning games this year they knew the roster they were taking into the season there is no way they expected to be competitive so I think they are just trying to teach this year and see if there are any young players worth keeping. Because honestly some of the moves this FO has made have been mind boggling. I understand they were told to fix the cap and all that but some things they’ve done to do that are ridiculous because there were pieces they should have kept if they wanted to win they clearly don’t care about winning this year
  11. He should have held him in place until a whistle was blown Agreed it looked like he heard a whistle or something because he looked back
  12. Yeah but they can only give him so much I agree they should have gave him a lot more with the 1s. But just because he wasn’t running with the 1s doesn’t mean he wasn’t learning the same offense. Supposedly Daboll has an specific offense created for Allen so it didn’t really matter what group he ran with the offense was tailored for him which I believe is a big reason why they kept foster and McCloud as well because if it is true that Allen had his own offense those 2 ran it the most with him and he had more chemistry with them naturally because they played together the most. We don’t know how well Allen is handling his information and how fast or how well he is processing and able to translate that knowledge onto the field so they can only move along as fast as Allen will allow them too. And obviously they thought maybe he was ready for more leading up to the Packers game until he showed he wasn’t. But all in good time
  13. But they have to give him this type of game plan. He doesn’t have a full command of the offense and cannot run the field properly. So they have to bring him along slowly and teach him things little by little. They tried to give him a heavier workload last week against the Packers and he couldn’t handle it. Someone can’t learn everything at once it needs to be taught step by step. That’s like giving a 2nd grader calculus before they even know how to multiply it would never work. He needs to learn piece by piece step by step and hopefully things open up and become clearly for him. It is unrealistic to think Allen they way he was coming out of college would come in and be able to grasp an entire NFL offense and immediately learn how to read the field and pick apart a defense. They have it give him more and more each week and hope he figures it out. They tried to overload him against the Packers it didn’t work out.
  14. I believe Daboll had a simple scheme drawn up for Allen and the offense for the Minnesota game. Quick reads, multiple dump routes, and just a simplified offense to get Allen comfortable in the game and allow him to run the offense. I believe because he commanded the offense well and performed well that McDermott and Daboll decided to give Allen a more complex offense to run against the Packers to see where he is at mentally since he struggled they dumbed it back down to him for the Titans game. They are trying to bring him along slowly but they also want to challenge him and see how he responds but I think we will see a lot more game plans like that of the Vikes Titans game from here on out but hopefully as the season goes on Allen will be able to handle and command a more complex offense little by little and hopefully with the help of Derek Anderson Allen does begin to grasp a more complex offense and is able to read the entire field and know how to attack the defense while still developing his foot work and his fundamentals
  15. Yeah but they are probably going to use him Incase of an injury instead of peterman and him as a player will allow Allen to be shown how a vet prepares before a game and how he gets ready
  16. He is a private coach who already has worked with josh allen and improved his footwork a lot it’s up to josh Allen and the bills coaches to continue what Palmer taught him
  17. I think it’s for a pure mentor signing cam Newton was not good at reading defenses coming out of college and Anderson helped him a lot they probably think he is a good teacher and willing to help. I think it’s a good move
  18. Lol how’d you get this pic?
  19. 17 but whatever and they got lucky the bills where not a playoff team with Tyrol Taylor nor would they have ever been. Clearly McBeane didn’t think so either since they have literally got rid of 75% of the playoff roster and by the end of 2019 I’m sure that % will be higher but I agree they aren’t as bad but they have made a lot of questionable moves and are going to kill the invested QB before he can ever develop I hope I am wrong but they have handled things extremely poorly
  20. Hey would you mind sending drugs through the mail. Because obviously your **** is way stronger then whatever I can get here
  21. This is true we don’t have any weapons to support him but we also would have had an entire year and a full stock of draft picks last year to acquire a ton of weapons and OLine if we didn’t !@#$ up and pass on him. We wouldn’t have had to get rid of Glenn give away a ton of picks to get Allen could have took Edmunds with our pick things would be a lot different in the bills locker room if they took Mahomes
  22. I think the Titans are a tough team and their new coach has them very well prepared and ready to fight it out till the end. And we don’t know what the !@#$ we are doing we are just playing darts blindfolded throwing **** where ever hoping it works
  23. I’m not a huge Allen fan and didn’t want us to draft him nor waste all our picks on 2 players but **** happens and we are here. He looked good in one game where the game plan was favorable to cover our weaknesses and also allowed him to highlight his strengths as a young QB but he almost killed himself numerous times and obviously this year isn’t about winning games. So is it possible that the coaching staff is just giving him different game plans and things to teach him and telling him not to get hurt and just learn what you can week to week get through the season and next year things will be different? But for coaches to do that McBeane must feel comfortable with their jobs for a few years at least definitely not the standard 3 and out. But maybe the owners have given them a time frame because they wanted to fix the cap space. I don’t know I’m just processing info because this team has looked crazy and hasn’t done 1 thing consistently and neither the offense or defense is playing with any fire besides in Minn so what the !@#$ could it possibly be
  24. Aaron Maybin was a ****ty pick in 09 we got Eric Wood that draft as well though
  25. Only time will tell...AJ is overlooked a lot because he sat behind Dalton but he was never given a chance to be the starter it was hands down Daltons job. I believe AJM is gonna surprise a lot of people
