I think the Bills are about tied with Saints for 4th best team in NFL right now. I would put KC, Pitt and GB ahead of them. But I think Bills could beat Pittsburgh, better match up than KC anyway.

Bills put too much hope on Singletary who I will say now is a bust!

Eventually a lack of running game cannot be compensated for. NFL teams that line up to stop a QB every play will stop a QB.

Good win and everyone gets to see no matter how good a QB - you get sacked and harassed, you will much more likely turn the ball over. This game Allen didn't turn ball over despite 7 sacks and several runs whereas Wilson turned it over 4 times which lost them the game.

Difference in this game is almost entirely turnovers. Remarkable non-amount of rushing yards in this game.

Wilson will end up with over 400 yards too

Seahawks 6-1 and definitely one of best teams in NFC. Allen outplaying Wilson and its not close.

can you really count the two wins against the Jets? Those are wins just for showing up even though they were closer than they s/h/b. Don't see the defense stopping Seattle much and the O won't be able to keep up.

Imagine how Mahomes would have done had the Chiefs not run for 800 yards against the Bills! Yeah, you HAVE to be able to run the ball to be successful in the NFL. Pure passing teams get yards and points but always lose to well balanced teams. Singletary is not the answer at RB. He certainly has a place but is not an everydown RB.

Compare Josh Allen coming out of college to DeMarcus Russell (for those who remember him. 2007 first draft choice by Raiders) Russell had about every physical gift you could hope for in a quarterback yet he failed miserably. And the biggest reason he failed is he simply wasn't interested in putting in the time and work to be a NFL QB. Thats the thing you can't really gauge well as a scout. Whereas Allen was a raw prospect and by all accounts really shouldn't have lasted this long, mostly because he didn't get to sit behind a capable veteran for a year and learn how to be a NFL QB. He got thrown in way too early with a terrible corp or receivers and was forced to improvise just to survive. And he learned from that experience whereas many might have wilted and now he's looking like he's mastered the craft of NFL QB.

Josh needs a couple more years or a SB to be in the Rodgers\Wilson\Mahomes conversation I would say. But pretty much the rest of the league - hard to put anyone else over Allen right now.
