  1. how can Bills defensive backfield be this clueless and completely not cover guys after about 5 months of football?
  2. This is a game that most people know either team can win. I would love to see Allen play great and Bills win but this game, the weather, the teams, the quarterbacks, I just hope its a great game.
  3. I give the Chiefs credit, they didn't make the big mistakes whereas the Jags played very tight and couldn't overcome themselves and their defense is not that great at all. Chargers would have given them a better game but oh well.
  4. That first interception was just a poor decision as Brown did not have his guy beat like he did on that play a couple weeks ago. The 2nd int was just a great defensive play and bounce. So I'm not that worried about interceptions as I am fumbles. The fumble TD was Josh thinking he was going to shake off the defender who had perfect position on him. He needed to eat the ball on that one. He also fumbled with 5 min left in game was luckily recovered by Bills, Miami would have likely scored at least a FG and tied the game had they recovered. And then there was a fumble out of bounds. Recall that Hines also fumbled a punt that Bills recovered. But those two Josh fumbles were due to sacks so you can bet Cinci will be blitzing to try and cause mistakes like this.
  5. Vikings had a pretty good offense and Cousins had a good year. You have Cook and Jefferson you're going to win some games. But their defense wasn't really any better than Detroit or even Chicago's defense. They had the benefit of being a good team in a weak division, although GB and Detroit got better in 2nd half of season.
  6. Keenum should start against Cinci, just so Josh leans a lesson! 😁
  7. A defensive timeout should be egregious, not just some guy lined up in wrong spot. And against Cinci where you might need those timeouts at end of a half, don't waste them. I really wish there was a 3 second rule on timeouts, can't wait til the damn ball is being snapped to call a timeout!
  8. This game could go a hundred different ways. I would like to see a patient Josh out there, take those 8 yard pass plays and hit the big play when its there instead of trying to force it. I would not expect Cinci to drop a bunch of balls like Miami did and I wouldn't expect Burrow to throw some easy interceptions. This is the best offense the Bills have played against since probably Detroit. So Josh and Co. have to be more patient and just can't turn the ball over. Not saying the Bills should play conservative but every minute the offense is on the field is 1 less minute that Burrow is out there. If Bills play up to their ability they should take this game.
  9. Its tough to win in the NFL, even if you a great team. If your just an average team, you certainly don't win 13 games.
  10. You don't throw a 3 yard pass on 4th and 8. You just don't.
  11. Bills absolutely have to work the field and try to get first downs instead of trying to score a TD every play. You can't win just on big plays. You take your shots but its like Bills were playing as if they were down 17 points and only had 6 minutes left or something and were trying to hurry up and score that second half. Those last few possessions, they should have been working the clock and getting first downs but Allen is throwing bombs to Davis down the sideline. There were a lot of things in this game that went haywire. The 1st interception - Josh threw it up for grabs and Brown seemed to misplay it, still wasn't going to be a ball he was going to get. The 2nd interception was just bad luck and a great play by Miami. I don't fault Allen or Beasley too much for that. The fumble/TD was Josh thinking he could just shake off the defender and ended up losing the ball. That was probably his worst play. Miami was able to limit Josh rolling out and making plays. Defensively the pass rush was just too soft. They had a few sacks and pressures but several times Thompson had plenty of time. They did shutdown Miami's running game so that was a plus. Bills got a little lucky the Dolphins dropped some catchable passes, but Bills also dropped some huge ones that could have sealed the game. One thing is for sure, the Bills are going to have tough sledding in the AFC East these next few years.
  12. Stick in all the Bills defensive backs as receivers! Their catching the ball.
  13. That was catastrophic! Just a bad play and Josh wasn't able to keep control of it.
  14. That 2nd interception was just a great defensive play by Miami and their guy was in the right spot to get it. Thats football.
  15. Bills could still win big but glad I didn't lay down 13.5 points on this game!
  16. Dolphins haven't even really played well. Something like 125 yards of offense and Bills with about 280. Combination of the turnovers, the runback on the turnovers, the kickoff out of bounds and some balls that receivers couldn't prevent hitting the ground.
  17. If I look into flights, I have to figure out how I would get a ticket.
  18. Yes, KC beat the 3-6 Jags, the 9-7 Jags will give them a tougher game I think.
  19. So who matches up better against the Chiefs, Jax or Chargers??? I would say Jax does because of their team speed. But its hard to beat a team 3 times in 1 year as well and Chargers are familiar with KC.
  20. Something more interesting to me, I was looking on NBCSports stats and top 20 receivers yards-after-catch and no Bills on that list. Philly, KC, SF and Miami all had 2 players each on it.
  21. I expect the Dolphins to play hard but this game should be 24-10 by halftime.
  22. Also doesn't sound like Lamar will play Sunday either. So both Bills and Bengals will (likely) go from facing two teams with poor QB's to facing each other against a top QB a week later.
  23. The Chargers/Jax game is really the most compelling game. All the other games could potentially be blowouts. I don't see any big upsets happening.
