Tedy Bruschi had TWO holes in his heart
Live&DieBillsFootball replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I totally agree! Bruschi always had a knack for making big plays when they mattered. I have a lot of respect for him as a player and hope that his medical problems get corrected whether he is able to play again or not. -
Good news for NYS taxpayers...

Maybe they should offer to build it closer to Rochester. -
Too bad they didn't have a deep fryer and some Frank's hot sauce.

I don't think that that sideline reporter likes the Bills either.

I would gladly take the 3rd + Shelton rather than the 2nd round swap + Shelton. This way we get an extra early pick. I too think that this is going to be done on draft day. I think that not taking the straight trade is a bit of a gamble, but AZ could also walk away with nothing if they have to just cut Shelton. I think AZ will cave and take the trade and use their #1 on something other than an RB. AZ could also trade down for an extra pick that could make the TH+ trade more palatable to them.

Cincinnati is on the clock at 17... RING RING
Live&DieBillsFootball replied to brihs2005's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's always fun to speculate. I'm sure that anyone on our roster is available for the right price. If the Bungels were dumb enough to offer a 1 and 2, we would be foolish not to take it. -
Methinks they doth protest too much...

I feel honored to finally make someone's ignore list. I just find the idea of a Bills stadium in Batavia to be one of the stupidest ideas that I have ever heard. Building a new stadium in the middle of nowhere just doesn't seem like a smart idea from the standpoint of economic development. A new stadium in Downtown Buffalo would at least give an economic boost to the area in terms of hotel rooms, restaurants and bars. It also may get people to spend the weekend here going to casinos, Bass Pro, the Canadian Ballet and other cultural places. -

And 40 miles extra is going to matter to the "millions" of fans from Syracuse and Albany? Last time I looked, the Bills were selling out almost every game. Lots of fans come from a distance to the game, be it Canada, the southern tier, etc. If they built a stadium in Batavia, at least the 10 or 20 fans in Batavia would have a short drive to the stadium. And it's nice of Rochester to share the Amerks with Buffalo this year. At least they get to play in front of a full house for 2 games this year. -
TD refs OL as it stands today
Live&DieBillsFootball replied to Terry Tate's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People need to take a chill pill. TD is a master poker player and is playing AZ. He will get good value for TH on draft day. -

This is the biggest crock of stojan I have ever heard. Build a stadium in the middle of nowhere just so it is closer to the people of Rochester? !@#$ the people of Rochester! If they don't like driving the extra 20 miles to Buffalo instead of Batavia, maybe they should become Giants or Jets fans. -
Some thoughts on why no Henry trade
Live&DieBillsFootball replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I bet a Henry trade gets done on draft day. If not with AZ, then with some other team. -
One of the best Bledsoe quotes I've
Live&DieBillsFootball replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
New nickname: Drew "I choose not to run" Bledsoe. -
Scott wondered why "She's Gone": Maybe if he hadn't beat the crap out of her. Anwar will Never Love This Way Again: Now he's a strictly a catcher. Federov: I loved those baby pictures with the band-aid over the trach hole. Man, does he suck. Carrie: Looked hot, but she also looked pretty stiff. Bo: Way to take a 15 minute song and cram it into 90 seconds. Constantine: Crammed a 6 minute song into 90 seconds, but he was good tonight. Vonzell: I hate that fuggin song, but at least she sang it well. Nadia: Her swan song. She's a goner.

(OT) Man Tackled Outside US Capitol
Live&DieBillsFootball replied to zow2's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Was it a good tackle? Could always use a sure tackler on special teams. -
Check out the Redskins fans!
Live&DieBillsFootball replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just so long as it's not as coach of the Bills! -
1. Tight End situation. It's already been reported that Mark Campbell's rehab is ahead of schedule. Tim Euhus is also doing very well with his. Also, Jason Peters move to OT is not as locked in stone as earlier reported. TE may not be as big of a need as originally thought. 2. Running Back - Once the TH situation is resolved, we will bring in a veteran RB to backup WM. We need someone who could start for 4-6 weeks if WM got hurt. Hearst is probably not durable enough to be counted on to start if WM gets hurt. 3. Nate Clements - Nate brings a lot of things to the team but he's not a great cover CB. (for example, Jacksonville game). But the turnovers and punt returns will make him a high profile guy who others might overpay for.

Remake any movie line:

Karl: [on the phone] Yes, Ma'am. I've killed Ron Mexico with a lawnmower blade. I hit him two good whacks in the head with it. That second one just plum near cut his head in two... It's a lil' ol' white house on the corner of Vine Street and some other street. There's a pick-up truck out front that says "Ron Mexico Construction" on it. Ron said besides sending the police, you might wanna send an ambulance or a "hearst". I'll be sitting here, waiting on ye. -
Speaking of Ron Mexico

Harry Colon - he was drafted in the 8th round by New England in 1991. -

That's some funny stuff. I never knew the Cards had any fans and now I know that they do but all of them are 12 years old. I like the TD is gay because he won't make the trade comments. I really think that the Cards need TH more than we need Shelton. Shelton is expendable and getting TH allows them to draft for other needs with their top 2 picks. The Bills would like to get some value for TH, but if we can't we can keep him as a backup for another year. Draft a center in the 2nd and move Teague to LT. -
Anwar was good last night but had an unfair advantage being gay on show tunes night. All in all, it was probably the worst episode I have ever seen. The band was much too loud and even the background singers were louder than some of the "idols". Each song was more boring than the one before, although I pretty much lost it during "Climb Evry Mountain" by Federov. I was laughing too hard to actually hear him sing.

Bobblehead, that is some good stuff. What was with Paula all over Simon? She must have been on something. She also said something negative to one of the performers which is very unusual for her. My thoughts: Federov should stick to hockey. Constantine - The Partridge Family? I always thought that that song sucked. But, he actually sang it worse than the Partridge family. I have no idea why this guy is still in it. He's pretty ugly, so I don't see why even the girls would vote for him. Nadia - just when I thought that she was one of the best, she pulls out one of the worst performances of the season. I was almost starting to get used to her old hair style and she comes out with a mohawk. Jessica - She's a porker who tries to show off her fat body and can't sing. Looks like someone I might have hooked up with once when I was out hogging. Steve - this guy irritates the hell out of me. He looks like some hick from the farm and they dress him up like some hip-hop wannabee and he sings like a crooner. Mikala - I think that her bus ticket home is already printed up for tonight.

I think that they took a risk in using the same actor again. I'm sure that they could have found another actor who could play the part without the distraction of the guy looking like a guy recently killed off.
