We had 3 timeouts and a bad spot. I was screaming for the challenge.3rd and goal from the 1 is a whole lot better than the 2 in that situation.

Looks like Brady won't return as a FOX analyst for 2025
BBills83 replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wasn't impressed early on but I thought he improved alot by the end of the season. -
Why would you insult Marv by attributing this memorable quote to Caprain Khaki?

Who are some candidates for OC if Brady gets a HC job?
BBills83 replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Byron Leftwich. He did a nice job working with Brady in Tampa with Arians. -
No PI until a Bills DB gets 'exuberant' in coverage.

Is anyone else feeling mad at the Dolphins for ruining the rivalry?
BBills83 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've watched a ton of games against the fish from their beginning. The best eraxwas Kelly-Marino 2 tough PA boys battling. Now there is an arrogance with the Dolphins that they can wallow in. They have mismanaged their roster construction and have a coach who everyone thinks is smarter than he obviously is. If we never lose to them again, it will not bother me at all. -
Who’s the best Left Tackle you have ever watched?
BBills83 replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Orlando Pace or Anthony Munoz -
I think full time officials would help with consistency on calls. I agree the rules are too complicated but the inconsistent enforcement in the same game is ruining fan faith. They can't even get ball spots right using replay - i.e. today's Pitt-Wash game.

11/10/24 Game 10 GAMEDAY! Bills at Colts Post Game Thread
BBills83 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
They put 30 on the board with a very short handed receiver room. It wasn't pretty but it was effective against a decent defense. Our D stepped up strong in the 2nd half and stopped letting Taylor run wild. Good to see help from Jefferson so soon plus more d-line production from more than just Rousseau. -
The "we won't get past the Chiefs" defeatist make me crazy. I will trust in Josh, Brady and McD until they prove I shouldn't this year. They just look different this year. I have been on board the Bills bus since 1962 and I can't get down now. These are glory years with some incredible talents. GO BILLS!!!!!

Week 1 - Cardinals at Bills - Post Game Thread
BBills83 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let's get a few games under our belt before the breakouts start. Josh was Josh, Keon looks for real, Cook, Shakir and Hollins all rock solid. Davis and MVS look like contributors. New d-coordinator getting his legs under him, Groot unleashed, Von did contribute, especially at a critical time. LB's and Safties a real concern. Bring on the Fish and we will learn more. It's a long season. Much longer if Taron and Josh broke something today. -
Can play all 3 interior spots and is a smart player. Very surprising he is still there.

Bills two-time AFL champion, Al Bemiller passed away
BBills83 replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember meeting Al and Ernie Warlick at a Bills basketball game when I was 11 or 12. I still remember being surprised at how well they both played. Even better was how great they both were with all of us kids that were there. RIP Mr Bemiller. -
I'll come to Jim Kelly's defense. This past May my wife, sister and I met his daughter Erin, who was a sweetheart, and sat with Jim for about 40 min in his charity's conference room. He talked with us like he'd known us for a long time. We discussed his teams and this one. He loves Josh and has high hopes for this group. We all left feeling great about meeting them. Definitely not an a$$.

Drafting Jameson Williams will make us unstoppable
BBills83 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Olave would be my pick if he's there. Why take Williams, who couldn't beat him out, if the better route runner and better hands are available. -
Harbaugh is a legend in his own mind. He finally beat OSU this year in a home game with a pretty experienced bunch that he finally got resultswith vs a strong but young team. His Michigan teams did not develop their players very well and that was completely on Harbaugh and his coaching staff. He does not worry me in Miami. The Bills have got to stop being their own worst enemies. I worry more about them beating themselves - 13 seconds - than Harbaugh making a big difference in Miami.

What’s your earliest memory of the Buffalo Bills?
BBills83 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1963 - My Dad took me to my 1st game. Bills-Jets when Cookie ran over, around and through the jets for 243 yds, a pro record at the time. My Dad was a Buffalo cop and his partner and son were there with us. The son was Pat Dobson who was pitching in the Tiger farm system at the time. That spring he sent me a used mitt and ball from training camp. It was the 1st of many Bills memories and I am still expecting many more. The Milano and Williams signings have me even more excited for this season to get started. -
What were you doing in 1993?
BBills83 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Living in C'bus and enjoying taking my family to Michael Dominic's on Sundays to watch the Bills with over 100 Bills fans. Great group following their passion - Buffalo Bills football. -
Have you ever been to a Bills home game in Buffalo?
BBills83 replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have been to games at the Rockpile guite a few times including watching Cookie Gilchrist run over and they the Jets for 243 yds in 1963. I still have the souvenir coin from the 1st game at Rich Stadium against the Skins. Haven't been back for a game in a few years now. I have seen games in Cinci, Cleveland, Indy and Detroit. Turned down an opportunity to see then in Philly because I didn't feel comfortable taking my wife to a game there. -
I didn't mind the slight Pitt bias because Collinsworth did give props to plenty of Buffalo talent plus coaching, ownership and the fans. I just got tired of the yammering on about things other than specific play by play analysis. Too much gab while football is being played as if he and Al had more important things to say vs the importance of the play on the field. I just don't need to here him ramble on. Ear plugs please and Go Bills. Take down the cheaters in Foxboro then rest against the Jets.

2018 Draft: 1st round discussion
BBills83 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mango, take your personal attack and whine over the pick. I simply stated my opinion too. I didn't go after anyone. I don't like the pick but trust the pickers. What is so lazy about that? -
2018 Draft: 1st round discussion
BBills83 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't believe the negativity. I wanted them to sit at 12 and take Jackson or Rosen, whichever was there. Not thrilled with Allen but I cannot claim to know more than Beane and McDermott. I am willing to trust the brain trust that got us our 1st playoff appearance in a generation.
