We were driving home Sunday from vacation and listening to the game on XM. One of the announcers said, "Gotta love it -- The practice squad players are on their feet, firing up the crowd!" I had the same question and that answered it for me.

Not one person I've come across remembers these guys. I knew them as 'Manitoba's Wild Kingdom,' but I guess they're better known as 'The Dictators.' They were awful, but they bring back fun memories of cheap concerts (and women) at the Fort Lauderdale pier, circa 1991.

I've noticed very little chemistry between Cousins and Thielen since their public spat last year. In the game two weeks ago they looked like they wanted to kill one another after a few misfires. My guess is Thielen gets traded.
