  1. Well ensuring you’re far and away ahead happens less than half of the time in the NFL. That’s a higher standard to meet than holding referees accountable…
  2. How is it not concerning to you that 54% of games are decide by 1 score and we’re accepting that human error can sway those results?
  3. Because it makes for a more compelling product? The actual concerning point is that they haven’t had decades… the average margin of victory has actually shrunk and the the technology being used is better and they’re still having issues getting it right and holding referees accountable…
  4. Except when a player missed a block, throws a bad pass or loses the ball in the air… those are errors made by actually participants in the game. That’s fine… because you know… they’re the ones who are supposed to decide the outcome in a game. Not the impartial 3rd party facilitating the game….
  5. Yeah, the solution is hold the referees accountable when 54% of your games are decide by 1 score and a bad call can sway that result… that’s the exact solution.
  6. That’s not what I said. Don’t put words in my mouth… just like you shouldn’t put your interpretation on what you thought the ref saw.
  7. You’re ignoring how dumb your statement is and continues to be. 54% of NFL games are decided by 1 score. You’re trying to sell me on the fact that teams aren’t doing enough if they’re playing a game that the refs can influence…
  8. If he saw the head turned and handfighting… he saw the head turned with a handful of jersey you clown. The defender has his head turned and is yanking Diggs’ jersey so bad you can see his shoulder pads. Diggs isn’t handfighting… he has one arm free, the other being manipulated and his jersey being pulled. What you just said in your post above is NOT what you said initially.
  9. This doesn’t make sense considering 54% of NFL games are decided by 1 score. By your logic 54% of the time teams don’t play well enough to avoid bad calls from refs? That’s just a bad standard. NFL games are close… the refs have the opportunity to sway over half the results.
  10. Bro, you called it handfighting. Now you’re admitting the shirt pull. It’s a 180. Admit you were wrong… there’s a ***** paper trail.
  11. I’m not disputing that portion of it. @Gene1973 just did a complete 180 on his interpretation of what happened and is pretending like he’s some savant.
  12. It’s handfighting when you’re clearly grabbing a handful of another player’s jersey and you can see his shoulder pads? Give me a break, Gene.
  13. Quietly FilthyBeast is the most over-reactionary poster on Two Bills Drive right now.
  14. They 100% care. I have a friend who was a MLB All-Star… it was a surreal moment for him. He didn’t care that fan voting was part of it… it didn’t make it any less meaningful. It’s stuff that these players dream about and @Gene1973 is out here spewing nonsense per usual.
  15. Did I say it’s more valuable? You’re trying to claim it has no value at all.
  16. You realize the fan vote for the Pro Bowl is only 1/3 of the total vote. Whereas All-Pros are chosen entirely by writers… people not involved in the game. Your argument so far for why the Pro Bowl isn’t important has been… 1) Nobody plays in the game Rebuttal: There is no All-Pro Game so? 2) Stupid Fan Voting Rebuttal: It’s 1/3 of the vote. 2/3 are from NFL players and coaches. Plus, writers who vote for All-Pros are… fans. 3) Less All-Pros = More Prestigious This would’ve been a great comment to make at first… but it was the 3rd thing you brought up 😂
  17. Why do they mean more? All-Pro selections are chosen solely by football writers, many of whom have never played the game and are just fans of the sport. Pro Bowl selections are chosen by peers, coaches and fans. Both mean something, but please explain to me why All-Pro means something and Pro Bowl means nothing?
  18. Ok? It’s about the honor coming from your peers and coaches… with recognition from the fans mixed in. Do you not care about the All-Pro team because they don’t play a game?
  19. Gene, finding ways to discredit Bills accomplishments since 1973. ™️
  20. I thought McVay was a great in-game coach? I also thought the Rams had the blueprint to winning it all? Trade all your picks away. Looking great since the trade deadline.
  21. Who are these better depth players that could’ve been acquired that you’re referring to? Johnson is out there because he’s one of our best players - that’s not a negative towards Klein. Klein is our 3rd LB. He’s depth… sorry he’s being used as depth instead of playing over Taron Johnson? Taron is fantastic in run support and gives you flexibility to defend the pass.
  22. The coaching staff seems to be pretty high on Jaquan Johnson at S… we’ve just never really seen him play because of Poyer and Hyde. AJ Klein is definitely a good 3rd LB. I don’t know what you’re looking for depth wise. Name another team in the NFL that has the starting caliber safeties and linebackers we have? Of course there is going to be a drop off from Hyde and Poyer who are both arguably playing at an All-Pro level. Of course there is a drop off from White who is an All-Pro. Of course our other LB can’t cover like Milano and Edmunds. It’s because those guys listed are some of the best in the league at what they do…
  23. I wasn’t asserting that the Saints offense was a juggernaut? That’s was just unnecessary fluff lol You’re missing the point. The concern was that we would be in a difficult position in a game if one of CB went down because having 4 CBs active is playing with fire. You’re asking for a 4th CB (I’m assuming boundary CB because Taron is strictly nickel) who isn’t a total liability… the reality is that guy doesn’t play unless someone gets hurt. It’s whether you believe keeping that guy on the active roster is worth it as compared to another position. That same caliber 4th boundary CB that we’d be keeping on the active roster is going to come off a practice squad or FA. You seem to be conflating the words depth and talent… it seems like you’re more worried about upgrading Dane Jackson or Levi Wallace than you are about adding another solid CB?
  24. Well what’s the mistake? The common gripe is that 4 CBs on game day is super light and could hurt us if someone goes down in a game. It happened last night and they held up. Their 4 CBs have done just fine all year. Wallace is a suitable #2… how many teams have two Tre Whites? There’s always going to be a drop off between your star and the next guy. The CB depth thing has some validity in the event of injuries on game days… otherwise it’s kind of a weird argument.
  25. I mean it’s not misleading at all… there’s a reason for having statistical minimums to qualify as a league leader. You did a great job of pointing out exactly why it’s NOT misleading.
