  1. Can we get some stats or are you just going to show up in every thread and troll all week? It's fine if it's true... more than happy to have that discussion... but it's not true just because you say it.
  2. This post made me cry. My Mom and I share the same back and forth during Bills games that you and your Mom shared. I’m so sorry for your loss. God Bless.
  3. Except the Browns have somehow managed like 26K straight votes in the last hour.
  4. That's not what Frazier said?
  5. How long has this vote been around? I know we won last year and probably would've won in 2019 had the Titans not bought 20K votes in the semi-finals.
  6. Yeah, they’ve given him the captain participation trophy 3 years in a row. Fans, coaches and players have given him the pro bowl participation trophy 2 years in a row. Kind of weird such a bad player keeps getting all these trophies.
  7. And again… you’ve missed the point. The main point wasn’t even W%… I listed 10 different stats. I don’t even talk about W% in the original post… it’s just included. Someone made the comment McDermott isn’t good a against rookie QBs and I decided to look into that by comparing him to Belichick. Sorry you’re upset by that. I even make a point of saying that I’m not looking at whether they ultimately win the game…
  8. I was just curious… wasn’t sure if you saw anything else at another point in time. 4 targets in the preseason isn’t really enough for me to conclude anything, that’s why I was asking.
  9. A preseason game is a preseason game. If I wanted to talk about a preseason game I would’ve asked about preseason game. That’s why I asked if you saw anything during practice.
  10. Did you see anything different with him during practice?
  11. Brian Gaine drafted him… makes sense.
  12. Where did you get bombarded? You asked a question and I answered it for you. Some other guy commented and was a little testy… bombarded seems like a stretch… I’m not comparing just the record… I’m comparing a bunch of different things… did you read the original post?
  13. I think you missed the point… but that’s ok.
  14. Yeah, that’s cool. This wasn’t really a Belichick thread or me trying to say McDermott is better… you seem kind of defensive? The whole point was to disprove a claim that McDermott isn’t good against rookie QBs… so I compared him to the guy that first comes to mind when it comes to terrorizing rookie QBs. You’re correct. He lost to and beat Geno, Sanchez and Roethlisberger in their rookie seasons. Beat Russell Wilson and Colt McCoy a few years down the line. Belichick is yet to beat Tua Tagovailoa.
  15. Doing the rough math in my head… we’ve kept 71/90 guys we had with us in the off-season between the active roster, IR and practice squad. McBeane loves consistency… I personally value consistency from a personnel standpoint. I’m pretty excited about the above.
  16. McDermott lost to Darnold. Belichick lost to a different “unknown” guy, Tua Tagovailoa. He also lost to Geno Smith, Russell Wilson, Colt McCoy, Mark Sanchez and Ben Roethlisberger.
  17. There was an article that compiled all of the Belichick data and the McDermott stuff was easy to throw together real quick.
  18. Oddly enough Belichick has faced 6 rookie QBs since 2017 when McDermott arrived. McDermott has also faced 6 rookie QBs since he arrived here in Buffalo. Just for fun... here is how those numbers stack up... Belichick McDermott
  19. After Mac Jones was named the starting QB for the New England Patriots yesterday, someone in the Cam Newton cut thread made a point that they were excited to see what McDermott would scheme up for the rookie Jones. After looking a little bit closer we are actually slated to face rookie QBs 5 times this season. Week 9, Trevor Lawrence Week 10, Zach Wilson Week 13, Mac Jones Week 16, Mac Jones Week 18, Zach Wilson Some comments were made suggesting that McDermott isn't actually good against rookie QBs... not that he doesn't ultimately win the game... but that he doesn't chew up and spit out rookie QBs like other defensive gurus. I wanted to take a look at this, and needed to make a comparison. The first name that came to mind was Bill Belichick. Bill has been at it a lot longer, but many consider him the best and most consistent at frustrating and confusing young QBs, especially rookies. Let's take a look... Bill Belichick Sean McDermott It's a small sample size for McDermott as the head coach of the Buffalo Bills... but he's been pretty darn good thus far. At the end of this year McDermott will have faced 11 rookie QBs to Belichick's 30 (Wilson x2 and Lawrence). I am curious to follow along and see if McDermott can keep up the pace he is on... because thus far he has been GREAT at frustrating and confusing rookie QBs.
  20. This dead cap ramifications from cutting him are going to kill us long term. Horrible roster management by Beane… why give him an extension if you’re going to cut him and bring him back? Now we’re on the hook for the dead cap money. SMH. This is what some posters will say 😉

  23. Nothing. Also, don’t bring facts to the table, it ruins bad arguments.
  24. Highly likely he’s cut and brought back once we stash some guys on the IR.
