  1. As well as division rival players (See Wilkins, Christian)
  2. Tajae Sharpe has also been a starter for them this year
  3. I want him in Buffalo so bad. I’ve wanted him in Buffalo since before he signed with Chicago and then with Atlanta. RB, WR, KR, PR and a gunner. You’d condense Matt Breida, Emmanuel Sanders, Jake Kumerow, Marquez Stevenson, Taiwan Jones in to one player. Now you have 3 real RB active each week and 6 real WR. I think the flexibly to play RB but also split out and play WR would be an absolute nightmare in this offense. We’d have so much flexibility to run 5 WR sets with the ability to threaten run with him. At his age he probably gets $6-$7M a year for 2-3 years. The roster flexibility he would provide would be absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately I could see a bad team offering close to $10M/year and he’d be wasted. Singletary/Moss/Patterson Diggs Davis Beasley Patterson McKenzie? Stevenson/Draft Pick?
  4. I actually sent him a book with a note a few years back when the article came out about him being a big reader. He wrote me back as well. I was impressed by that.
  5. Okay… so you’re just going off a few instances in your head that you’ve singled out because you dislike McDermott’s coaching style. But when you look at the entire portfolio… it’s just not the case… https://edjsports.com/posts/bf60603b-8b6b-4ec9-a673-4e749689e702
  6. That doesn’t mean stats lie. It just means people don’t understand them or understand how to use them.
  7. My thoughts exactly. You’ve got Mac Jones, selected 15th overall in New England with a supporting cast designed to support him. Not to mention the greatest coach of all-time. You’ve got Davis Mills, selected in the 4th by Houston with a supporting cast made up of? Meanwhile the head coach is a WR coach turned QB coach turned HC.
  8. According to Dolphins fans… this Dolphins team is like the early 2000s Patriots. Tua is elite and just needs an offensive line. The Saints defense is better than Tennessee and New England.
  9. Luck. They’re bottom 5 in the NFL in like everything. All of their wins are 1 score wins. 7-2 in 1 score games. They’re the anti-Bills in that regard. Statistically teams are .500 in 1 score games. If you outperform that in a given season, you’re generally playing above your capabilities and due for regression backs towards .500 in 1 score games in the following season. They’ll likely play closer to the 4-5 win team they should be on paper. I’m not saying it’s going to be a gimme… but their record isn’t an indication of their true performance.
  10. Honestly Tua looks almost identical to them as well.
  11. Top guy is Mac Jones… bottom guy is Davis Mills.
  12. Alllllright. TBD finest not understanding what stats look like… shocker.
  13. Does anyone care to guess who QB1 and QB2 are? This will be a fun exercise. ***EDIT: These are per game stats.
  14. They’re averaging an elite 22 points on offense during their 6 game win streak. A cool 3 points so far tonight.
  15. Haha come on. It’s not because of Tua. They did the same thing last year. He’s a game manager that gets bailed out by a decent defense against bad teams.
  16. I don’t really consider a QB that throws 3 yard outs and screens every play as a good QB.
  17. If PFR is right, then yes. He edged out Dan Fouts by less than 2% of the vote. Interesting enough, in those years a QB or RB was always the runner up.
  18. It’s really only ever been a QB or RB/FB. Since 2000 it’s been… AP won in 2012. LT in 2006. Alexander in 2005. Faulk in 2000. Alan Page in 1971 was a DT. Mark Moseley in 1982 was a kicker. Lawrence Taylor in 1986 at OLB. Those are the only non-QB or non-RB.
  19. Yup! Only game he played in that he didn’t start was week 1 against Baltimore. He got the UCL injury against Houston and missed the rest of that game. Followed by IND, NE, CHI, NYJ. Then went 3-3 down the stretch with losses to MIA, NYJ and NE. That’s the infamous Charles Clay drop game and then Sam Darnold lead a late comeback.
  20. Yeah he was 5-6 as a starter and played in 12 games but didn’t play full games against Baltimore (week 1) and Houston (week 6)
  21. I was actually corrected as being wrong haha. Josh has 131 total. 101 passing, 29 rushing and 1 receiving. Yes, you’re correct! Marino had 143 passing and 2 rushing.
  22. “I guess he hasn’t noticed that I haven’t covered a road game since 2017” No. He hasn’t. Nobody really actually gives a ***** about what you do… because you’re an insufferable prick, Jerry.
  23. Oh boy. My math was not very good there. Thanks for the correction. Holy *****.
  24. If you do total touchdowns by QBs in their first 4 season Josh has 122. That’s 2nd all-time behind Dan Marino at 145. Marino did it in less games though.
  25. Speaking of this… did anyone see Josh split Collins and Van Noy at one point during the game and then look Van Noy up and down with a little smirk. It cracked me up.
