  1. Supposedly Knox broke his hand… so that’s cool.
  2. I swear if we don’t have All-Pros at every position by the end of the regular season, we might as well just forfeit once the playoffs start.
  3. You can’t just magically look and see an open guy on the opposite side of the field when you’re looking one way and have pressure in your face and have to get the ball out. Come on, man.
  4. How is anyone placing blame on Josh Allen right now? I mean really… guy is leaping over defenders and running for his life and we’re complaining because he didn’t see a guy break open for a split second on a play where 2 guys are in his face, he’s looking the opposite direction and he has to get the ball out or take a sack. Give me a ***** break.
  5. You’re right it’s a cost benefit analysis… but you need to drill into the issue. I’m not saying he can’t be cut… but it’s lazy analysis to say he’s getting old therefore he’s no longer productive. That’s why I said you need to separate the two.
  6. Is his production declining because he’s not capable of doing what he’s been doing his entire career or is it because Knox has emerged? We have to separate the two. It was talked about a lot that if Knox were to emerge targets would have to be taken away from Diggs, Beasley and the new WR2. There are only so many targets to go around each year and last year we were at that upper limit. I have the numbers somewhere because I had to explain it to a bunch of people. If his production is dipping because of his age then it’s an issue. If he’s still capable of doing what makes him great… his age and declining production in an offense that has numerous mouths to feed are not actual issues. The only reason you move on is if you can find a player to do what Beasley does, at the same level, for less money. That was the whole thing with Sanders this year… everyone was freaking out because he’s 34… but that only mattered if he was incapable of doing what makes him a productive player. All evidence pointed to him still being a capable and productive player. Right now it seems like the only issue with Beasley is the distraction portion. Although, McDermott’s comments and his teammates interactions with him show me that it’s primarily a media/fan driven narrative that’s wildly overblown.
  7. Tre White to Sanders after his 2nd TD of the game: “They said you was too old.” Sanders: “That’s what they said! That’s what they said. That’s what they said.” He’s talking to the clowns on the message board here who said he was too old BTW.
  8. Cousins made the playoffs 1 time in Washington and got a fat contract. He’s a middle of the road QB that can’t elevate a team and relies on help from the players around him. Mayfield is the same player. Tannehill is the same player. You can put lipstick on a pig like Arthur Smith did with Tannehill… but if Tannehill were a legit QB he would’ve been able to show a lot more on his own despite Gase in Miami. You’re going to see the same thing with Darnold in Carolina. They’ll look better because they have competent coaching and get to develop a bit… but they are who they are… guys with average-ish traits that play up in a system designed to help them maximize those average-ish traits. I don’t care what Tannehill did against us in 1 particular (weird) scenario… sure it happened… that’s not the player he’s been his entire career. He’s protected by Henry. Look how they handle the guy in the playoffs… they don’t trust him to throw the football. In 4 playoff games he has averaged 21 passing attempts… like my original statement… Tannehill, Mayfield and Cousins are the same… they can’t win you a game regularly… they hide behind their RB. The Titans have demonstrated that’s true in the most important games they’ve played since he has been there.
  9. Tannehill, Mayfield and Cousins are all the same. If you force them to win the game, they can’t. They need to hide behind Henry, Chubb and Cook to be effective.
  10. Is Josh really that good? Or is Mahomes just regressing? 🤔
  11. Yeah it wasn’t directed at you… more of a follow up on what you’re saying.
  12. Josh’s numbers through 5 games on a per game basis are almost identical to what his numbers were on a per game basis last year. Y/A 2020: 7.9 2021: 7.5 AY/A 2020: 8.5 2022: 8.3 Y/G 2020: 284 2021: 274 Passer Rating: 2020: 107.2 2021: 102.5 TD/G 2020: 2.34 2021: 2.4 INT/G 2020: .625 2021: .4 Only numbers that are significantly down are his Comp% and QBR…. And QBR is going to be influenced some by his Comp% This whole “regression” thing is hysterical.
  13. So he hasn’t dealt with a tremendous amount of adversity since arriving in Indianapolis?
  14. Ehhh he’s pretty good. Dealt with a tremendous amount of adversity since arriving in Indianapolis. He’s done a good job there and deserves the praise he gets.
  15. Maybe this is just in my head… by McDermott has traditionally done well against these Titans style offenses in the past. The run first, heavy play-action offense. Minnesota, Cleveland and Tennessee. I think we’re like 3-2 against these teams but we very rarely give up a bunch points… outside of that weird Tennessee game last year…
  16. The last ~15 games I certainly would say so… Rousseau might be on the fast track as well. You could see the disparity between our drafting ability and the Chiefs drafting ability on the field last night. Chris Ballard was a BIG piece for them. It’s no coincidence that the Colts have been among the best drafting teams since he got the GM job in Indianapolis.
  17. It’s third fewest points scored for the Chiefs in the regular season since Mahomes took over. They lost 19-13 against the Colts in Week 5 of 2019. The won 17-14 against the Falcons in Week 16 of 2020. 4th lowest total if you include the Super Bowl last year. 2nd largest margin of victory against a Chiefs lead Mahomes team. The largest being the Super Bowl last year.
  18. Even worse… they did mention it and Collinsworth tried to justify it… “he grabbed some jersey, that’s an easy call every time.” Lol ok, sir.
  19. You’re right… McDermott hasn’t done anything here. This run of success would’ve just happened naturally like it did between 2000 - 2016 😅
  20. Is it Crosby’s fault ? His holder is Bojórquez… 😬
  21. I’ve wanted to bring Patterson in here over the past few years. He’s bounced around a bunch since 2017 and has never really broken the bank… at least compared to what he offers. Great special teamer and some interesting offensive versatility. Glad he’s found a pronounced role somewhere.
  22. It’s the former. Do I think that’s actually how it unfolded? Partially… but I 100% believe that’s the story Antonio Brown told and most likely believes himself.
