  1. I know this is from a little further in the past now… but what about Josh’s 26 years on earth makes you think he won’t adapt at some point?
  2. We traded for Nyheim Hines and Dean Marlowe. Claimed AJ Klein off of waivers. Signed John Brown to the practice squad. We have OBJ in for a visit. We’re literally doing the exact same things as KC… adding depth where we can find it. Give it a rest.
  3. The holder gets up and throws an incomplete pass? Then the clock stops… it takes less than 7 seconds.
  4. I mean I guess I’ll add to this… time wasn’t the issue. They got down to the Detroit 20 with 20 seconds left and 2 timeouts and then went incomplete, incomplete and sack. They had plenty of time and the 2 timeouts allowed them to do whatever they wanted. Burning a timeout at 1:52 isn’t making a difference in that sequence… they didn’t run out of time lol
  5. I don’t really feel like going through everything else right now, but they didn’t panic. It was 1st and 10. They called a timeout with 7 seconds left to give them another chance at a FG if there was a botched snap or anything of that nature. Actually a smart football move that you didn’t recognize. If someone like say, Sean McVay did this, people would be licking his wee-wee.
  6. You’re either unaware or ignoring legitimate facts that prove McDermott provides these things. Either way, shame on you.
  7. Ahhh yes, RyanC883 back again spouting his infinite wisdom. Happy Thanksgiving!
  8. The D’s “billing” was set with the likes of Hyde, Edmunds, Rousseau, Miller, White factored in. Hamlin, Dodson, Love, Lawson and Jackson played exactly how you’d expect them to. It’s frustrating to watch and can get better… but 25 points on the road against a top 5 offense with 4 or so starters missing isn’t the colosal failure you’re making it out to be. If/when we get those “billed” names back playing and these problems persist… then you have an argument. Otherwise, it’s a pretty shallow discussion.
  9. This is correct. Seems like some sort of dig at Frazier... he's done this plenty of times to opposing QBs as well. Our issue against the Jets wasn't stopping Wilson... he threw for 154 yards. It was the two horrible turnovers by Josh and the inability to stop the run.
  10. Problem is he's already had the injury before... I just asked some "friends" and they said 4-6 weeks is a safe guess. Suggested that TJ may be an option because he's done it before.
  11. Yeah. This is where I'm at as well. I'm not as worried about the arm never being the same... baseball/football throwing is different. I just don't want to miss 1.5 seasons of Josh Allen because it'll take some time to get back to normal.
  12. Haha are you sure about this? 😂 I’ve seen people freaking out on here before because we’ve drafted “busts” like Luke Tenuta, Austin Proehl and Vosean Joseph… these were serious comments. By the way… 35/39 players Beane has drafted are on NFL rosters. That’s pretty damn good. Proehl (FA), Joseph (CFL), Fromm (Commanders PS) and Araiza (California Penitentiary) are the 4 who aren’t…
  13. I swear you sit on this thread and wait for any possibility to suggest Josh isn’t good enough to be MVP. “No, I just tell you how the voters think.” Cool, Gene. Appreciate the perspective from a guy casting a ballot.
  14. Russell Wilson out for the Broncos against the NYJ… man the Jets keep getting breaks… although Rypien might provide a spark 😂
  15. These aren’t even our last three 2nd round picks 🤦🏻
  16. It doesn’t make the guy a miss 🤦🏻
  17. Do you remember where you saw/heard this? Curious to hear more…
  18. Well when he returns he will be healthy...? They're not brining him back injured.
  19. Why Tre? Why not one of Jackson, Benford or Elam? Tre is an All-Pro CB...
  20. Yeah you're right... McDermott didn't build up a top notch analytics staff... he had nothing to do with that despite having total control over football operations.
  21. So why bring up Sirianni in your initial post? The premise of your first post was the Eagles are in a better position because Reid is gone. If I can’t discuss how that’s just not true, then don’t introduce that point. You love moving the goal post. Yeah I said the success of hiring coaches is random. Go quote me on it you fool. Kelly wasn’t successful. Made the playoffs once and went 1 and done. sucked in SF too. Pederson won a Super Bowl. He had one good season out of 4 and was fired. Sirianni is 13-8 so far? That qualifies him as a good hire. I mean come on man. None of them hold a candle to Reid and don’t even come close to being a top 10 HC in the leagues.
  22. I love how you left out the rest of the response in your quote. You can’t possibly argue that Philadelphia is better today without Andy Reid. They haven’t been better in the decade he’s been gone and aren’t better today. You're acting as if Reid was fired and Philadelphia immediately won the big one the next season. It took 5 years and 2 HCs to get there and they’re on their 3rd HC in 9 years because outside of 1 magical run they’ve been pretty mediocre while Reid has lapped the rest of the league. You’re the best Badol!
  23. Thanks for proving my point. You’re telling me Philadelphia made a good decision and upgraded by replacing Reid with Kelly/Pederson/Sirianni? The Eagles have been to the playoffs 5/9 seasons since firing Reid. They have 3 playoff wins in 9 seasons since firing Reid (all of them came with the Super Bowl winning run which took 2 cracks at hiring the right head coach!). They’ve won 78 regular season games over the span Reid has been gone. Meanwhile KC has been to the playoffs 8/9 seasons since hiring Reid. They have 19 playoff wins and have won 103 regular season games over than same span. 2 Super Bowl appearances and a win. Explain to me how Philadelphia achieved excellence in choosing Kelly/Pederson/Sirianni over Reid? You probably should have used one of the OTHER countless examples 😂
  24. Talk to a fan of any other team (even the good ones) and they're going to irrationally complain about coaching. You're talking up Tomlin as a great HC and I'll go chat with my friends who are Steelers season ticket holders and they'll say they've wanted Tomlin fired for 5 years, his teams underperform, they show up unprepared, etc. College buddies are Patriots fans, they want Belichick on the hot seat. Ravens are clamoring for Harbaugh to go... It doesn't get much better than McDermott, but it sure as hell can get a lot worse.
