When we lost to them in the playoffs they had two #1 receivers. I don’t care that Travis Kelce plays tight end.

Von Miller faces arrest in domestic violence case in Dallas
JGMcD2 replied to ArdmoreRyno's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was never actually a 6/$114M it was always 3/$52.5 Fans of other teams (and ours) just react to the Adam Schefter tweets and fail to read anything longer than 150 characters to understand what actually was agreed to. -
Which WR prospect will the Bengals screw us out of?

1980 when we added OJ Simpson to the Wall of Fame. Take him off and all of our problems go away.

Lol yeah, that was after he hurt his arm. I forgot about that no-call.

McD on late game decisions - "Hindsight is always 20/20"
JGMcD2 replied to HomeskillitMoorman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because people aren’t capable of thinking rationally. They’re upset, so they hate him as a person too. -
I think he got hurt in the first half. Took a helmet to the arm and came up holding it and not really moving it. He played after that, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see him on the injury report.

I just said I’m ok moving on from him… you’re possibly the worst troll on the board.
-
Look, I’m at the point where I’m ok with moving on from McDermott. You’re spewing off in other threads about how he has total control and is calling the shots… well if that’s the case he made the decision to draft Josh Allen. You can’t have it both ways. You’re in every thread this morning just running your mouth. You’re on pace to post in like 20 different threads in less than an hour with nothing of substance other juvenile comments like “McDildo” How old are you 35-40? I mean Jesus Christ.

We're Going To The Playoffs. (edit: Updated - Super Bowl)
JGMcD2 replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the point is Miami has not beat a team .500 or better (at the time they played them) dating back to Week 3 of 2022 against Buffalo - the heatstroke game. Which, for reference, we’ve done 10 times in the same span. It doesn’t mean we’re running the table, but it also means there’s a good chance Miami doesn’t either. -
We're Going To The Playoffs. (edit: Updated - Super Bowl)
JGMcD2 replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
I actually can… the exact same scenario played itself out in the Jaguars/Texans game yesterday. Texans trailing the Jaguars by 3 points. Incomplete pass stopped the clock with 34 seconds left. Texans lined up for a 58 yard FG and Doug Pederson called his second timeout to ice the kicker. Kicker hit the crossbar, game over. -
Beane drafted Singletary and Moss hoping that they would start in the NFL, but Houston and Indianapolis were able to make those determinations years later with NFL tape. With the same tape, Brandon Beane also made the same determination. I get what you’re saying, but is that necessarily a fair evaluation? These teams are making decisions with way different sets of facts and information on the player.

You already said he wasn’t necessarily squandering the Captain with his play. These are your exact words “It's an opportunity that he is so far squandering... and not necessarily by his play.” So you bringing up individual or team results this time around seems irrelevant to me. That leaves what he’s providing in the locker room/to his teammates. Not speaking to the media is an isolated incident for him, but definitely a bad look. What else? Something, something Two Dogs *****

AFC East Miami Dolphins (7-3) @ New York Jets(4-6) Friday 3pm FOX
JGMcD2 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s all narrative driven. Hard to get people to move off their spot. Teams were “Tanking for Tua” the year he came out and the year Josh Allen came out he was considered “a parody of a QB prospect” -
I mean that’s fine, dismiss the TDs. Here we sit and Josh has played in 11 games, Mahomes and Hurts are in the midst of their 10th. They’re the front runners for MVP. Josh Allen 29 TD and 15 TO in 11 games which is good for 1.93 TD for every 1 turnover. Jalen Hurts 23 TD and 12 TO in 9.75 games which is good for 1.91 TD for every 1 turnover. Patrick Mahomes 19 TD and 11 TO in 9.75 games which is good for 1.71 TD for every 1 turnover. Josh left the field with a lead and less than 2 minutes on the clock in two different games this year and didn’t see the ball again. They lost those games. That’s the difference in the narrative and it’s not even his fault.

He didn’t. He hurt it before that, he got hit/pushed on a throw and came up wincing while shaking it out. Hard to tell as it happened, but they showed a replay that was more clear.
-
Depends on who you ask. If you ask Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott, they’ll say it’s an ankle injury that’s been lingering for a few weeks per the injury report. If you ask folks on this message board, they’ll say it’s bustitis.

We didn’t get Douglas for a 3rd. That wasn’t the deal. If you’re worried about his “spotty play” then be worried about Young not being active for 24 games lol

Jimmy G has made a career off of being the guy who was drafted to be the heir to Brady. He’s a fine game manager/ball distributor. He’s nothing more than that - he won because he’s been surrounded by two very good coaches up to this point. Players in NE loved McD because he wasn’t Belichick. Nobody in Denver liked him because he was a total ####### (articles everywhere) and it sounds like he wasn’t revered in LV. "After trading away the young nucleus of our offense including Jay Cutler, Josh said to the entire team 'Fellas don't worry about the QB situation, I can turn a HS QB into an All Pro,'" Polumbus wrote on Twitter.
