  1. Spencer Brown was absolute freaking steal with his $18M AAV. Dan Moore just got over $20M AVV, Jaylon Moore (who?) got $15M AVV from KC and the Pats had to give Morgan Moses 3 years at 34 years old.
  2. Yeah, my bad. False Alarm.
  3. He broke his femur in October. That's not a simple injury to recover from, there's a lot of risk.
  4. These bad teams (Carolina, Cleveland) setting the market at positions is increasingly frustrating. At least Myles Garrett is the best in the world, but guys like Watson and Horn? Woof.
  5. Once upon a time, this would have been great. What about now?
  6. I’m really not following your point? They’re likely already under the cap with the moves they’ve already made, which makes them compliant with NFL rules. They can restructure at any time without any effort, even after if they agree to terms with a big fish. If they decide they want to extend, that requires effort, but they’re not in jeopardy of being without cap space to use.
  7. Restructures and extensions are two different things. Brandon Beane can restructure the 4 guys you need named and open cap space with no negotiations needed. He’ll have the money when he needs the money.
  8. It’s as if sacks aren’t the only thing you pay for a DE to provide…
  9. Same age as the 2024 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year!
  10. "Mild" trade up? To where?
  11. You’re referring to the play where his LT got blown up by Chris Jones, and got hit while throwing? Sure, under thrown. I’m immune to 300+ pound men impacting my ability to throw too…
  12. Tom Brady is considered clutch because: Adam Vinatieri made 3 Field Goals Pete Carroll called a pass instead of a run Julian Edelman made an inexplicable grab after Kyle Shannahan had a meltdown play calling The Rams scored 3 points The Chiefs offensive line was absolutely man handled Josh is not considered clutch because: 13 seconds Bass missing a FG Kincaid dropping the ball on a play where no other QB even gets a throw off. Narratives are interesting...
  13. Come on, this is a tired narrative. They’re all “his guy” , there’s no need to manufacture a hierarchy that doesn’t exist.
  14. Yeah, this is probably pretty close. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a draft model that takes the inputs of the scouts alongside objective variables that have a strong relationship to NFL success. Those things help them determine their board, etc. My guess is it’s less scouting staff applying his feedback, as it is him applying theirs.
  15. It would be quite the shocking departure from who Josh Allen is. I mean, he’s been the same guy for what seems to be his entire life. A particular point of pride is that Allen attended public school here, and not private school, like many of the well-to-do kids in the area do. That cemented an undying loyalty in the town, according to Terry Anderson, who was the principal of Firebaugh High School when Josh and his three siblings attended. That play stuck in Allen's craw. It was just one of the reasons he decided to return to Laramie for his junior season despite the experts pegging him as a sure-fire early selection in the upcoming NFL Draft. There were other factors, too. Admittedly, maybe he wasn't ready to lead a locker room full of men. Loyalty was a main component. Craig Bohl was the lone Division-I coach to take a chance on Allen out of Reedley Community College. By now you've heard the story about Allen sending emails to more than 1,000 college coaches. Only one answered and offered. "I felt I owed him the respect," Allen said of Bohl. The same guy that stood up on stage to thank Terry, Kim, Brandon, Sean and the Buffalo Bills organization for taking a chance on drafting him. If he goes somewhere else, who he is has always been a lie. So it begs the question, do you think Josh Allen is a liar?
  16. Because most people think very binary… it’s either “good” or “bad” there’s no room for context in their minds.
  17. Dyami Brown Bobby Brown III Tershawn Wharton
  18. How many difference makers exist in the NFL?
  19. Everyone felt like Joe Schoen was an incredible talent evaluator and Beane was ***** after he left. Who has had the better drafts despite picking 20-25 picks later?
  20. You mean Allen, Edmunds, Rousseau and even Elam? People complain about those guys too. I mean Buffalo is usually taking guys with high RAS. The athleticism is rarely an issue - they actually might bet on traits too much.
  21. Umm, yeah this isn’t true. Double check wherever you’re getting your information from.
  22. This isn’t really how medicals work… you really think Beane is there as the leading medical opinion?
  23. If this is for development purposes, I would be looking heavily into the college ranks for our next strength coach. If it’s primarily injury related, they should be looking into folks with PT and CSCS credentials. I may do some digging later to get an idea of who could be a fit.
