  1. I think the back to back DNP during walkthroughs is McDaniel being cute. He’s just resting them for Thursday.
  2. Everyone forgets when we lost that Heat game in 2022, our secondary for the majority of the game was… Jaquan Johnson (100%) Damar Hamlin (100%) Kaiir Elam (100%) Ja’Marcus Ingram (56%) On 8 possessions, they punted 4 times and had a 5th that resulted in a safety. Miami scored 21 points and 7 came off a Josh Allen fumble inside our own 10. 5 Plays, 13 Yards PUNT 3 Plays, 6 Yards TD 9 Plays, 83 Yards TD 6 Plays, 22 Yards PUNT 4 Plays, 21 Yards PUNT 3 Plays, 8 Yards PUNT 6 Plays, 72 Yards TD 3 Plays, -1 Yards SAFETY
  3. Or we could just wait for our starting safeties to be healthy?
  4. It’s going to be eye-opening when folks realize Arizona is a top 10 offense.
  5. God forbid the head coach does his job… like step in and make sure everything is running properly
  6. If we haven’t seen the numbers yet, I’d have to imagine it was team friendly? Teams don’t typically put the details out - it’s usually the agent when the figures look nice.
  7. The salary cap increased by an average of $12M from 2013 to 2020… dipped in 2021 because of COVID and continued its ascent since then. So the amount of money you can spend is fixed?
  8. They either felt really comfortable with the idea of losing him on waivers or knew he wouldn't be claimed. I know we've viewed Jonathan as a developmental piece in the past, but he's 26 now and only 1.5 years younger than Toohill. Toohill has managed to produce (albeit in a limited role) in the NFL - my sense is the clock just ran out on waiting for that theoretical upside.
  9. I am still pretty surprised by the Daequan Hardy decision.
  10. If I were you, I’d bet the house on the Yankees winning the 1927 World Series. If you’re feeling risky, maybe double down on a sweep…
  11. Josh Allen sucks. Ed Oliver sucks. Dawson Knox sucks. AJ Epenesa sucks. Greg Rousseau sucks. Spencer Brown sucks. James Cooks sucks. Terrel Bernard sucks. Dalton Kincaid sucks O'Cyrus Torrence sucks. Yet somehow, they're still starters on a team projected to win their division and potentially compete for a Super Bowl. That's 10/18 players drafted in RD1 - RD3 by Beane. *The Other Eight* Tremaine Edmunds - Starter for Chicago (AND GOT PAID) Harrison Phillips - Starter for Minnesota Cody Ford - Objectively not good Zack Moss - Starter for Cincinnati Devin Singletary - Starter for New York Boogie Basham - Objectively not good Kaiir Elam - Flashes? Dorian Williams - The Jury is Still Out
  12. He was, he no longer is because he sucked. Once again, they're not trying to be controversial to drive clicks. They're trying to be accurate to drive wins. You're the one arguing that the media and NFL executives are no different. You haven't presented anything other than "they're providing their opinion." Well if that's the case, not one person in the world is different than another because we all have opinions. I'll take my NFL front office job now. Some dude in China who has never watched a snap of football will too - he's no different than Brandon Beane!
  13. An ESPN talking head is going to say whatever to takes to create controversy and drive views/clicks to their content. It's what makes them valuable. A NFL executive is going to try and give an assessment that's rooted in reality as they're evaluated on how often they're right. It's what makes them valuable. Their intentions are different because the way they're evaluated are different.
  14. An anonymous source has nothing to gain from saying Josh Allen is overrated - they're genuinely providing their opinion. A talking head on ESPN is not always giving an earnest opinion, as it is advantageous for them to generate controversy. They're both "opinions" but are given with different intentions. Bill Polian sitting on the set of ESPN is exactly that, Bill Polian sitting on the set of ESPN. He's not doing it as an executive, he's doing it as a media personality. The intention is different.
  15. Nick Wright levying criticism is the same thing as a NFL Front Office member?
  16. It wasn't the national media who criticized him - it was a NFL executive.
  17. “Forcing him into a game that thrives on that kind of throwing?” And what kind of throwing would “that kind of throwing” be? Throwing that thrives on being injured and throwing with mechanics compensating for the injury?
  18. Yes, yes! Let’s ignore the shoulder injury that Josh admitted he just started to get over and caused him to significantly alter his mechanics. Exactly what I would expect out of a poster with your prowess.
  19. Do you typically go to push someone with your arms down by your side?
  20. You told me he hurt his shoulder shoving Leonard Williams... that happened in the 3rd Quarter. So, then what was this here that happened in the 2nd Quarter? And if you're saying he didn't go "shoulder first" then what is this? Should start at the 58 second mark.
  21. Didn't he hurt his shoulder before that and then run into Leonard Williams like a battering ram in the endzone?
  22. He noted that it was due to elbow and shoulder “tweaks” that forced him to compensate. Likely the same stuff that knocks guys out for weeks at a time.
  23. Sorry in advance to the “Josh is lazy and unfocused crowd.”
  24. I think this is the point a lot of people miss... relative to his peers, the rate at which Josh makes great plays far exceeds how often he turns the ball over. He does things that we (and others) believe are routine for him. In reality those things are extraordinary and nobody else can do them and if they can, not as regularly as Josh Allen can.
