  1. Does anyone get more breaks than the Chiefs? I mean every year.
  2. Not having studied "the film" nor claiming to understand responsibilities if I did, this ^ was my take as well during the game.
  3. I think McD decided long ago he wanted Tolbert's "character and leadership" on the team, regardless of who had to be cut. But now that the team has jelled and we have a season here, maybe that will be rethought.
  4. Agree. And I dislike Schopp and the guy with the ear splitting voice.
  5. So Taylor's touchdown throw was his worst play of the game. This is why I come to TSW.
  6. Nice work. Should be interesting to watch him.
  7. I can't even imagine getting romantic with a Pats* fan. I just couldn't get past that.
  8. ...that fans have no access to, yet make their minds up anyway.
  9. Good news. I'm as frustrated with Dareus as anyone but also amazed at how many here freely conflate his past character/emotional issues with his current injury. What if he was just hurt? Or is he no longer allowed that possibility?
  10. Ugh. Not a fan of the blue pants. White on white is much sharper.
  11. Your generalization may be correct when applied to years without a good defense or running game. But we seem to have a good D this year.
  12. ^^ Almost missed the humor. Nicely played.
  13. Dareus is healthy, stormed into McD's office, pounded the table and screamed "I'm all in dammit!". Then I woke up.
  14. The Bills to this point have offered Dareus a lot of soft love, but it looks like McD is moving toward tougher love and I like it. I think McD is seeing early signs that his program is working and is trying to use the momentum to bring Dareus along. I'm sure Kyle's part of the plan too.
  15. I'll have to look at the film.
  16. Rich Eisen picked the Bills, the 3 others on his show picked Denver.
  17. Still, way, way too much clapping.
  18. So the crux of your point is that to you as a fan, McDermott is annoying to look at. Great, an important take there.
  19. You are paid $2 million a year to do a job only 31 other people in the world do. Your team makes a valiant defensive stand. You choose to stare ahead stoically rather than try to lift the spirits of the team you are leading. Better yet, pout because you're losing. Is this really preferable to a coach who actually tries to use those few seconds of face time with his players to lift their spirits? Is it really better to not even try because ignorant but frustrated spectators might misunderstand what the energetic coach is doing? Get a grip.
