  1. I disagree, it's not just about forward motion of the ball. Posession is also required I believe. Remember Matt Ryan's fumble vs. the Bills last year?
  2. I was saying that during the review (as a fan used to getting the short end of most calls).
  3. Not sure why some people (Mike Schopp being a blaring example) treat betting lines as some kind of substitute for wisdom.
  4. Welcome aboard! Thanks for sending Josh our way.
  5. Schopp is driving home about now.
  6. You like that Aaron? What are you and Schopp going to do when Allen blows up your analytics?
  7. Thanks for the recap, Mike. By the way, how are you today?
  8. I'll never forget that game, nor will my son. It was his first game ever, and he ends up on the Jumbotron (see icon). What are the odds?
  9. That commercial has compelled me to buy several pallets of plastic straws. Not to use of course, just to dump in the ocean.
  10. I'm just one season ticket holder of many, but the only thing I commented on to the Bills this off season was the stupid train horn. I'm sure the Bills read & considered my comment, yet on it blares. Is there a groundswell of support for that thing that's outvoting me?
  11. McD said yesterday that "we have a lot of young guys". But actually our roster is the third oldest in the league.
  12. An average QB wins this game? You are your credibility's own worst enemy.
  13. The article said stadium lots open at 9. Hasn't it been 10:00 since forever?
  14. Last time I went, thought both the wings and beef were phenomenal. Could be a wait to get in though.
  15. All things being equal, receivers should be "more open" and thus appear to perform better for Allen than for Peterman. Whereas a receiver with a half step on the DB will make Peterman pump and then hesitate, Allen will see the exact same look and sling it, having more confidence in his arm. That's my hope and theory, anyway.
  16. Reminiscing back to the HS days - when receivers would actually catch his passes?
  17. No doubt they've done analytics on the extent to which they can feasibly push away the party crowd and price their offerings in a way that caters to a smaller number of wealthier, more well behaved clientele. I suspect their plan will reveal the results of that number crunching.
  18. No. Did my comment lead you to think that I think otherwise? Is this surprising to anyone? It just confirms that coaching and "managing the fans' perceptions" have little to do with each other.
  19. Here's a tip. The last place to look for news on any team is a coach's press conference.
  20. No offense, but when you're trying to get wins, you may respond, "who cares"? Player respect is far more important than what fans think.
  21. Fake news. Total crap. Stop wasting people's time.
  22. A few days ago I got an email from the NFL offering a credit on Sunday Ticket due to my status as a season ticket holder. Once processed, this showed up on a later email message as a $49 credit. BUT upon checking my account, I discovered that they changed my order from regular ST to Max, and bumped up the cost! So now I'm not sure if the "credit" I was offered was really just a roundabout way of upselling me to Max. Between stunts like this and the barely passable English spoken by their phone reps, I'm really getting irritated with DTV.
  23. Certainly as long as TSW has been in existence.
  24. One universal I try to observe is, never make a decision on something until I absolutely have to. Gives you more time to collect new info. Drives my wife nuts.
