  1. Channel 114 tells you if you are good to go. Click on it. If it says something like "You are authorized for this program" then it went thru. Mine hasn't yet. You can also check your account online to see if you have ST set up.
  2. It was a special offer for Bills season ticket holders - ST Max for $99 - offer came via a link in an email.
  3. Thanks! Let's hope they get it done by then or I'll be a nervous wreck.
  4. I'm curious to know if any other season ticket holders took the $100 ST Max deal that came via email. I did, got an acknowledgement message in return, but the deal's not active on my account yet. I hope they don't wait too long to activate it.
  5. Sure. My point was that I'm so locked in during a game, nothing else is important.
  6. Ever since moving to Pittsburgh I'm at New Era for all the home games. When they're on the road, I watch at home with family. I do not need atmosphere, friends, food or drink.
  7. Apparently Clowney does.
  8. Maybe with all the position flexibility of the remaining players, they they think they can keep 8 vs 9, and use the roster spot elsewhere.
  9. Expendable, apparently.
  10. Interesting article, but what's with the gratuitous reference to the old stadium?
  11. Only WGR's stupid meat/candy/other non-sports drafts are worse radio than FF talk. As another poster stated, FF talk takes me right to podcasts, spotify or other talk radio.
  12. Recent quotes from Beane suggest he thinks otherwise.
  13. I don't think he's concerned about honesty.
  14. You said unpopular, right? Tailgating is overrated.
  15. Interesting. You would think that Brian Gaine has insight into how to appeal to Clowney.
  16. So in other words, its a typical 21st century media product.
  17. Gabrage is actually the one thing worse than garbage!
  18. Update - a few days after hearing my ST was free, my bill showed "payment 1 of 6" for ST. I called them back yesterday to correct the problem. Got $60 off my bill for 12 months, and cancelled ST to get that first payment refunded. Will then use the season ticket holder discount I got this week from the Bills to get ST Max for $100. Took 75 minutes on the phone, but worth it. I'm pleased with the outcome, but it's clear that DTV has changed under AT&T. Not nearly as accommodating. Likely my 15 years as a customer helped me on this one.
  19. No soup for you!
  20. Your reference to Warren as "of native American descent" speaks volumes.
  21. I agree that they have this schtick going. But let me give an example to make my point about JW being a crappy partner. Monday morning they were discussing Da'Rick Rogers. JW asks Howard if he knew where he played in college. Howard says Tennessee, and JW says nope, Tennessee State. (I looked it up, he actually played at BOTH schools). JW was so ready to point out that Howard was wrong, when he wasn't. That's not "young-guy-laps-old-guy-for-a-laugh" schtick, its I-think-I'm-smart-and-I-know-my-partner-isnt. I find it very off-putting.
  22. JW needlessly and thoughtlessly says things to make Howard seem a step behind. Not enjoyable to listen to in the least, and doesn't appear to be a gracious coworker. That said, I wish him well with this challenge.
  23. Staying out of a contract is key. Apparently I happen to be in one now as a result of adding a mini-genie a year ago (even though they told me at the time that it wouldn't result in being in a contract). So I'm disputing the contract thing. Then I ask the rep to check on whether I have Sunday Ticket on auto-renewal (which you also don't want). She replies, oh, it looks like you're all set for ST at no charge this year. Not sure how that happened.
  24. There's an extensive thread on this topic already. Check it out.
