  1. I think the deepest ball he threw on the video was about 25 yards, most were the typical 7-10 yard balls we saw last year.
  2. Don't know who this Royan is but he's got to be an upgrade over Robert Royal!!
  3. Why is everyone worried? Jim Kelly already told us he's gonna save us.
  4. Great article. Not sure how good I feel about the McKelvin pick now. Maybe we should have picked a DE in the 11th spot.
  5. So, to summarize: - you agree with Belichick when he said he was wrong; - it was bizarre for Goodell to destroy evidence yet claim he was objective; - you agree with Goodell that you don't accept Belichick's explanation (except, I guess, the part where he said he was wrong since the thread title says you agree with Belichick's statements); - you haven't heard anything from the Pats to dissuade you from wanting an independent investigation. So you agree with Belichick's statements, except where Goodell disagrees with him. But Goodell's actions are bizarre. Got it. I am getting dizzy trying to follow this, but I do agree that more investigation is needed. Great post!
  6. You can tell it's a puff piece when there's no mention of the TE position, nor our offensive/defensive rankings last year. It's blowing smoke.
  7. It is possible but since we seem to get a new OC every year it's hard to know. We do know that Dick (says he) likes power football and always likes to play close to the vest anyway, so maybe that's what the Viti pickup was about.
  8. Wow - this is turning out exactly in alignment with my world view - the pro-Patriot* Democrats (booo!) will stonewall any investigation and the lone Republican (yea!) is pushing for the truth to be exposed. I love it. Obviously God is on the side of Republicans and the Bills - all things that are good in this world.
  9. For the lazy, please explain why and then I'll shut up (if appropriate).
  10. It matters not at all which QB's were involved in relaying signals. Brady's name gets the headlines but regardless it demonstrates what an elaborate plot this was.
  11. Responses to the Walsh revelations basically break down 2 ways: first, there are those who have something to gain from downplaying the allegations, and those who have nothing to gain from downplaying. Those with nothing to gain, the honest brokers, see major problems here. Enough said.
  12. There is no doubt - JP would be an absolute GOD in a system where he knew with certainty what the defense was running. It effectively would eliminate 75% of the mental game a QB needs to play. I have read the Senator's report and all I can say is - OMG. This is bad for the Pats.
  13. When you read the posters here, it seems like MOST have had a rocky childhood.
  14. He may have a lot of highlights on Youtube but on the one you pasted, he broke through ONE hole. The rest was just speed. Not a very impressive demo of his skills IMO.
  15. Why is that so great? DJ says the same thing to the players every week - only from him it sounds like "let's go guys".
  16. I would like to condescendingly say "who cares what these idiots think?" then I find myself glued to these threads as if they were car wrecks...
  17. Go ahead and damper expectations if you want, but I'm ultimately looking for a Super Bowl from this team. I NEED low first round picks to not just be competent and hold theitr own, but excel. Change games. With the #11 pick I want the same as I wanted from Whitner at #8 (with different measureables of course because he's a CB). I want McKelvin to start, break up at least 12 passes this year, and elevate the defense overall to at least #20. And I want the Bills to steal one game from New England due in some measure to shut-down corner play.
  18. Why is Mum going to beat OUR asses? Did Simon have a hand in this?
  19. Jay Glazer (Fox Sports) was reporting yesterday that Lito was in TB and that TB was the frontrunner. This is no surprise.
  20. Let's face it - Marv is better suited to the Bonadio gig than he was his last job.
  21. If you trade JP, who is your backup QB? You do know that backup QB's play an awful lot in this league, right?
  22. It's a tiny photo in a meaningless, pre-draft space-filler article in a second rate sports mag. Nothing more. Get over it.
  23. Everything Donahoe related is gone? When did they get rid of Peters, Moorman, Lindell, Parrish, Evans and the ugly unis?
  24. Exactly. A new stadium is only important to the Buffalo franchise (or any franchise) to the extent that it allows the owner to massively increase (ticket) revenues. Whereas in other, healthier markets a new stadium with premium seating and more boxes does help to increase revenues significantly for an owner, a new stadium in Buffalo does nothing to increase the pool of wealthy season ticket holders or corporate suite holders. What good are lots of new expensive seats if you don't have the rich butts sitting in them? This is why Ralph is making lots of noise trying to tap the Toronto market to get his revenue, and making ZERO noise about getting a new stadium. Whether you like it or not, Toronto is the last and only hope for the Bills to grow their revenues.
