  1. Nice idea, but that would require Jim Kelly to have a normal sized head - something he hasn't had for quite some time.
  2. Interesting idea. Actually I just snagged a pair in section 133, 36 rows up on StubHub. Pretty sweet and not a bad place to give my little dude (9 yr. old) his first Bills experience - hopefully the folks there will be well behaved. Will be my first game back at the Ralph in about 6 years so I'm psyched!
  3. Pizza Junction!! Home of the 10 pound pizza! I grew up down the street from there, off of Main.
  4. OK here's the deal: My son was born in Bflo but we have been living in TX due to my job since he was 4. Now that I can afford it, I want to start an annual tradition with him, going to the opener in the Ralph. This annual trip will include stops at LaNova, Mike's subs, Ted's and of course Mighty Taco. A full cultural experience (foodwise at least) for a kid who I have deprived. I was a season ticket holder for 13 years before I left (former section C2 then Section 135), and my son has never been to a Bills game although I have raised him to be a fan and we watch faithfully via Sunday Ticket. I need to take him for the ride down Southwestern Blvd. to experience the anticipation when we see the light standards and then pulling in the lot for tailgating and pregame activities with you nuts. If any of you are interested in selling first level 25 yd. line or better tix for the opener, let me know. I am prepared to pay StubHub prices, just would rather line a Bills fan's pockets rather than some corporate jerks. Please send a private msg. along with info on what you have to offer. Thanks!
  5. Good job Scott. But you're no Mike DeGeorge.
  6. Yes - a "classic" voice.
  7. Good point. I'll take care of that first thing Monday.
  8. Thought I knew a lot about him, but the more I watch MSNBC tonight (their tribute) the more this really hurts.
  9. We all know that Tim used to close his show on playoff & SB Sundays with his "Go Bills!" cry. And the last chapter of "Big Russ" devoted to what the Bills mean to the City of Buffalo. For those of you like me who had to seek our fortunes elsewhere to support our families, what do you do to show off your Buffalo roots to your non-Bflo friends and coworkers? Here are some of mine: - Proudly display my Bills football & etched glass buffalo in my office - Talk up the Bills every Friday during the season - Mourn/gloat on Mondays in the fall - WORK HARDER than everybody else and and show off my blue collar Bflo roots - Make SURE my kids' favorite team is the Bills by decking out kids room with all Bills gear - Mandating that all office subordinates install TBD as their home page on their browsers (just kidding) And you?
  10. Possibly, but if other facts later come to light that contradict that perjured testimony, it won't keep the driver off the hook.
  11. Unless everyone in the vehicle was drunk at the time and knew there'd be a DWI coming if they stopped.
  12. I was totally with you until the nap at halftime part. My adrenaline is running way too fast to fall asleep until well after the game is over - even the MNF games.
  13. How many games have the Bills won since Brandon took the helm?
  14. 6. ESPN/NFL Network/Skip Bayless/some obscure sports radio talk show host just dissed the Buffalo Bills.
  15. Thanks Mike - making us fellow Canisius grads proud. At least ah, um, ah, I think he was a Canisius grad.
  16. Wouldn't a QB need to put up some points in order to rate high in Madden? Do you remember how the Jets D put Trent in his place until JP came in and bailed him out with a "W" (that counted as a "W" for Trent as a starter)? Enough said.
  17. Most people, if they try hard enough, are able to make a point without condescending. It's really not that hard.
  18. You guys are merciless......he was just asking a question, not making a statement. OK so he missed some of the blurbs about McKelvin breaking up some passes - crucify him!!
  19. Health care bla bla bla..........let's not forget the Pats* cheated.
  20. If Walsh's and Tucker's claims are true, then the Patriots' actions most likely constituted an unfair labor practice (no pun intended) and a clear violation of the collective bargaining agreement that was in place at the time. It will be interesting to see if the NFLPA pushes this, as you would expect them to. If the NFLPA ignores this, then it's pretty clear they are in on the coverup too.
  21. This may move the equation toward the "Buffalo-Niagara Bills", with a new stadium in Niagara Falls (US side).
  22. Apparently it worked - at least once.
  23. Thanks to all for a highly entertaining and enlightening thread. I laugh one minute and say "O yeah he's right" the next.
