  1. Agree about the Edward Jones dome. Another venue that shows up poorly on TV is the Superdome in New Orleans. The only indoor venues I've actually been in to watch foorball are the Carrier Dome and the Alamodome when the Bills played the Saints a few years ago. That one also looked dim from the inside. I'll take an open air venue anyday.
  2. How do you measure toughness? It's easy to lay the lumber when you're a big dude. Stepping on the field when you're Roscoe's size takes some serious (mental) toughness. My props go to Roscoe.
  3. Elaborate please - what happened?
  4. Just sent you a PM - any help you can provide will make this hurricane responder's day a bit better!!
  5. Were you at the game? The weather was not the best - raining quite hard at times. You have to take that into account.
  6. I say Peters will be full-go on Sunday.
  7. Royal makes too many glaring, dumb mistakes for me to be comfortable with him (taking huge gorilla steps in the endzone a year or 2 ago when tiptoeing would have easily gotten us 7, and Sunday's failure to get out of bounds). But I will say that his play in the preseason has been good, and he was effective on Sunday. He's apparently in the best shape of his career and motivated so that is a good sign.
  8. BS and more BS. IT TAKES TWO TO COMMUNICATE.
  9. Downtown at the moment (at work), live next door to you, in Cypress.
  10. You're right, it couldn't be. If that were the case, Crowell's decision would not have caught the team by surprise as it did.
  11. Actually, I give Jauron a lot of credit for being as restrained as he was. He looked to me like he was about ready to jump out of his skin with anger, yet restrained himself enough to make a pretty bland statement about the matter.
  12. You may be onto something there - in fact its possible that after being backed into a corner by Crowell they decided to use the situation to their advantage to gain leverage with Peters. Use the opportunity to show their bigger fish (Peters) that they ain't playin'.
  13. Agree. The message is, if you are not team first, don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya. The Pats* FO has played heartless hardball for years with their players and have a few SB trophies to show for it. It CAN work.
  14. Absolutely correct. This theory is the only way to really explain how this is, as Jauron says, "coming out of the blue". Team is a nice concept but when livelihoods are on the line, team comes second to looking out for number one apparently.
  15. Jason Peters should MOST DEFINITELY read this!!
  16. The National Weather Service is now predicting Sunday to be 74 degrees and sunny. Perfect!
  17. Well said. Several media reports have indicated that the Bills' position is they won't renegotiate this year, but Brandon has never said anything like that publicly. Where the media got their info is anybody's guess.
  18. Great Seahawks info, thanks. But I can't believe you are already making excuses for Edwards based on his minimal PT in the preseason. I hope Jauron doesn't feel that way - that would beg the question of why TE didn't play more.
  19. My 9-year old son and I are flying in from Houston on Saturday! Sec 133, row 36, seats 19 & 20
  20. Note to those of you who give in to the temptation of trying to post messages directly to Jason - he has turned all of his thinking over to his agent. Your efforts are futile...
  21. I thought this was an automatic 4 game suspension, not 1. Or do they make an exception for the Pats*?
  22. Who is McCorner? McKelvin, or Corner? Can we please stop using the name "McCorner" as long as we have a guy named Corner (who happens to be a corner) on the roster? I am easily confused.
  23. Marv was an OK coach but never a GM.
