  1. So are you saying that when we get Fowler, Butler and Schobel back we will be fine?
  2. Chief, one look at your avatar destroys any cedibility you might otherwise have. Period.
  3. Agreed, in a nutshell.
  4. How does anyone seriously blame that on Hardy?
  5. INTERESTING
  6. The theme here is a little dramatic, but when you contrast Dick's decisionmaking right before the half with that of Jeff Fisher (who actually refuses to waste a possession at halftime and tries to score EVERY time he has the ball rather than kneeling), I would prefer a coach who is aggressive and tries to score rather than surrendering 20 seconds of possession time. I want a coach who has a sense of URGENCY.
  7. Bills double team Joey Porter with Dockery and Peters and he still gets through to sack TE? What a joke!
  8. Look deeper - why was Edwards under the gun so much today?
  9. is, we can't run the ball. Discuss.
  10. Royal is good for at least one bonehead play every week. Big mouth, small skill set.
  11. Exactly. I have been saying this for awhile but few have agreed with me. Haven't seen McKelvin's speed/moves for awhile now.
  12. WHO CARES? Do you play the games to impress media? NO. You play to win. Just win. Keep winning. What else really matters?
  13. One possibility is that with McKelvin you get a CB and returner out of 1 active player, thereby freeing up another active roster spot to spend at another position. Just a thought.
  14. If I was Jauron I would sit him down and make him understand he's at a career crossroads. This is where everyone finds out what you are made of John - now how are you going to respond? Sounds obvious, but sometimes if your boss looks you in the eye and lays things on the line, it has an effect.
  15. Let's face it, Royal's an idiot. He has a knack for the stupid.
  16. What is happening with this guy? No speed, no moves, no cuts, no elusiveness whatsoever. Is he thinking too much? Or just being overcoached?
  17. Please, slowly back away from the keyboard.
  18. Bill, Do you take notes during the game thinking that we are just waiting for your "thoughts"? Get over yourself. And yes, Robert Royal is a "barometer" for this team - as long as he's the starter we know how good we are going to be.
  19. OK, here's what I would like to know. How does a cap, any cap, emerge scrunched up from a 24-pack and look even remotely wearable? Explain please.
  20. Agree. I'll be watching the Ravens then keeping my eye on the Pats* during commercial breaks.
  21. I have always believed, and still do, that JP can play in the NFL. During his career with the Bills I would have liked to see him perform in a competently-designed (and called) offense like Turk's, and also given the ability to audible. Having said this, there is no longer a question in my mind that the coaches' judgement in starting Trent over JP was the right one. Trent's learning curve is much steeper than JP's was, Trent's temperment inspires confidence, and his game management is superior to JP's. Trent is the right QB for this team.
