  1. If you want to talk about today only, Cassel was 6 of 8 and did fine in the same conditions. I am more interested in this trend over the whole season, especially in the last 8 games.
  2. Let me preface this by saying I think Edwards is an average QB at best. Someone educate me please. Why are all of our passes either flat passes for a 2 yard gain, or on comeback routes where the receiver is NOT in stride? Is this offensive design or simply how Edwards reads and reacts? Is there no anticipation on Edwards throws or is it just me?
  3. Here are my main issues, in order: 1) Coaches way too tentatively. His teams show no urgency or imagination until the game is out of reach. We did not throw into the wind until the Pats (the visiting team) showed us (on our home field) that it could be done. Pathetic! 2) Related point - his lack of emotion transfers to the players. Players take on the personality of their coach and in DJ's case, his passive nature translates onto the field. That's a recipe for mediocrity. 3) Clock management. Enough said. 4) Allows players to get too comfortable. Why is it GOOD for a collection of 7-9 players to be comfortable with their coach, unless you want more of the same?
  4. Amazing how you know what Ralph wants. I think Ralph's a poor owner in terms of knowing how to be competitive, but to impugn his motives is complete and utter speculation.
  5. Thanks Marv, you genius you!
  6. Thanks Marv, you genius you!
  7. What does it mean to be "promoted to Ralph's inner circle"?
  8. Edwards doesn't TOTALLY stink. Yea!
  9. Why would anyone want to talk online during the game? Geez, hire a "friend" to sit with you so you can talk to him. Weird.
  10. Whoa there. Edwards is marginally competent. Not great by any means.
  11. Only on TBD can you find someone who would use the word "new" in this post and still sound condescending.
  12. Could not have said it better myself.
  13. Sorry, but this doesn't explain his lack of playmaking since he got here. Name me 3 impact plays he's made as a professional starter, please. Crickets chirping .....
  14. How can you say that? He ALMOST ALWAYS makes a solid tackle after the guy he's covering catches the ball and makes the first down. What are you expecting? A tipped ball, interception or a hit that separates his man from the ball? What do you think, he was a first round pick or something? Sarcasm off now - Marv flat out blew this pick. I've been flamed on here for some time for saying so, but it's true. WHITNER IS NOT AN IMPACT PLAYER FOLKS - MCKELVIN IS MORE OF AN IMPACT PLAYER AND THAT IS NOT SAYING MUCH.
  15. Fixed. Polian got us to 4 SB's but the latter got outcoached 4 times.
  16. I am a big Bills fan and have bought a lot of merchandise over the years, but never a jersey. I am not a Buffalo Bill, don't pretend to be one, so I've always thought of fans wearing jerseys as kind of childish.
  17. You do realize this is the least meaningful stat EVER, right?
  18. I think it was Ralph who started the thread. I have to laugh at the "Look at the poor Bengals, Lions. etc" line. Note to Chuckknox ---> we ARE in this group of perennial losers!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Just a bit more salt - Fox reported yesterday during the game that our OL was the BIGGEST in the NFL.
  20. I agree that this is a factor in what happened yesterday. The only time our players are exposed to inclement weather is when they are out Christmas shopping for their wives. DJ's decision to practice indoors may make sense sometimes, but not every day.
  21. POST OF THE YEAR in my opinion. And the commentary about Ralph placing a premium on his front office staff doing HIS bidding is right on the money as well. The one constant through all the losing is Mr. Wilson - if he ever gets tired of losing, he should either take a long hard look in the mirror, or sell the team.
  22. I'm starting to regret passing my love of the Bills onto my son. Talk about setting a kid up for a rough life (Sundays at least)! It's like passing on a defective gene to your kid! Well, at least it won't be long until there are no more Buffalo Bills - at least he has a CHANCE at happiness.
  23. These are the 3 statements I actually agree with.
