  1. Wow great article. The Brown family is really a piece of work.
  2. Thanks for the warning Driz. I'm not a jersey guy at all but those white throwbacks are so sharp that I decided to pull the trigger on a DHGate whitey (Edwards) yesterday. Before I ordered I went to Walmart and tried on a size 48 jersey and it fit nice - a bit loose but not baggy. Sounds like the DHGate models are bigger than the standard department store 48's. I'm 5'8" 155 (call me small if you like, I prefer "in shape") so I expect mine will be big too. I think even if you need it tailored, it will still probably come out cheaper than shopping at the Bills Store.
  3. What was the name of the seller? The link brought me to the DH homepage and didn't show the seller. Thanks!
  4. Just read that second sentence a few times - it helps remind me of the mentality of some the people on this board. Wow
  5. There should be a Bud Light commercial about those morons. On second thought, Budweisier probably doesn't want to offend their best customers.

  7. Boy some of you are really on a hair trigger...
  8. Look, TO can't pretend he has a long term deal with the Bills because he does not. Why do you expect him to? IMO all we can ask from him is to keep his focus while he's on the field wearing our colors. And he is doing that so far!
  9. I thought so too.
  10. I agree, he caught my eye as well. Seemed to make some plays and definitely showed intensity. He was not out of place at all, as far as I could see.
  11. Not completing the full body motion on a throw will make passes miss on the high side, which is what happened on that pick. However in the postgame interview, Trent to his credit took full blame for the interception - a classy move to protect the rookie (whether his statement was true or not).
  12. Another good thread topic would be, how does your SPOUSE cope with your coping? I am sure that over the years the Bills have tested many marriages...
  13. I read this the other day too and it struck me as a HUGE deal. Men like Ralph do not change their stripes and I believe that today's enshrinement only solidifies for him the "correctness" of his position over the years. I have always been very skeptical of Jim Kelly's vague pronouncements about a consortium of buyers but maybe, just maybe, Ralph has something up his sleeve that will protect his family yet "do the right thing" for the city of Buffalo. If nothing else, Ralph got into the Hall of Fame for being the conscience of the league, and I think he has intentions of contiuning this pattern after he passes.
  14. Agree - if as a coach you don't use the induction of Ralph and Bruce as motivation to your squad, you are pretty stupid and you've wasted a golden opportunity.
  15. If you don't think Jerry is envious of Ralph's induction you are crazy. Enjoy it a little bit...
  16. I'd say IF there's any noticeable difference, it stems from the fact that this is preseason.
  17. Speaking as a transplanted WNY'er who has lived among Cowboy fans for the past 7 years, I can list two things Ralph has that Jerry Jones does not: 1) Thousands of appreciative fans who have seen their owner consistently put loyalty over profit; 2) A yellow jacket Cheers to you Mr. Wilson - enjoy your time in the spotlight!
  18. I assume your question is rhetorical. The only Sunday I'm not nervous during the season is bye week.
  19. Good stuff Fing, thanks. Would like to read about Keith Ellison when you get a chance.
  20. What part of this Toronto thing do you not understand? This extra revenue is keeping this team on life support. I won't call names and say that you are a small minded person, but your opinion is small minded.
  21. As far as grading the FO, I'm going to tie my grades directly to the play of the tackles this year, for two reasons: 1) With all the offensive weapons and the decent defense we have, the play at the tackle spots will ultimately be THE difference between 4-12 and 10-6. 2) If Walker and Butler are glaring weaknesses this year, it will likely mean that at the end of the year we do not have a clear sense of whether Trent can be our franchise QB going forward. This will murk up our draft priorities. 3) Letting Peters go and then drafting two guards effectively blew up the line and put both Walker and Butler at new positions. The success of the Peters-for-a-LT-already-on-the-roster idea points directly to the competence of the men in charge (especially since they have shown no interest in Levi Jones as a LT insurance policy). If they couldn't get this right, they deserve to be gone. If this gamble pays off, they obviously deserve more time to put the remaining pieces in place.
