  1. Were that to play out for the Bills, I would be stoked.
  2. This is the correct answer. I've come around to Claussen and if he's there you take him - that is Plan A. Plan B is Claussen's gone, then in that scenario you build the lines. I thought Claussen was supposed to be in Buffalo yesterday, has anyone heard how that went? Of course, that would take some actual reporting.
  3. So the Bills may be "open" to Brohm. Yea, right. Until the draft takes place, I think we need to watch what they do and not listen so much to what they say - because its ALL smokescreen. Last I heard, they were going hard after McNabb and may also be interested in Campbell. So how open are they really to Brohm?
  4. Do you get cable or satellite out there?
  5. Were you meaning Tim Tindale? Bad joke either way.
  6. Wow! Glad to see those aren't lost. Funny how the camera shows Buster Ramsey introducing the first game film and telling the crew to "kill the lights" as he puts in the game tape. Highlight films have sure come a long way.
  7. You are thinking like a rational adult. Remember who you're talking about?
  8. This can't be right - I keep hearing that Ralph's cheap.
  9. I'd be happy if the mocks stopped. Just stopped! They are boring, meaningless, and useless.
  10. Finally a clearheaded comment. Gailey's move was all about setting the proper businesslike mentality in there - this was about working on the players' brains, not their physiques.
  11. Mock drafts aren't worth the paper their printed on. Nor the pixels they light up on your screen. Waste - of - time.
  12. Well, it's Tuesday and who knows who reported yesterday? I don't. Does the media even know that yesterday was the first day of volunteer reporting? Hello media people, are you awake?
  13. I always wondered if that restaurant was his family's. I think there's also another Schobel's on I-35 betwen San Antonio and Austin.
  14. New coaches, new front office, new strength & conditioning coaches, several players in new positions this year - it had better be a full parking lot over there! Link
  15. Nix is not taking Clausen. Period.
  16. I think Trent can be serviceable.
  17. When you trade up, you put a lot of chips on ONE GUY being really good (and staying healthy), because you've given up other players to get him. In the Bills' situation, if anything, you trade DOWN. Your best course of action is not to pursue ONE dominant player, you need SEVERAL good ones. You get your hands on several by adding picks, not giving them away. Plus the strength of your organization (we hope) is now Buddy Nix - get more picks in that man's hands!!!!
  18. I will never forget that perverse bit of ineptitude on Royal's part - perfect throw and he catches the ball but then takes two INSANELY LARGE strides and steps out of the endzone. After that play, I had Royal forever labelled in my mind as "Gorilla steps".
  19. That's a dumb statement on Lombardi's part. Not only does he not know the timing of any Bills inquiry, but the Eagles are in a situation where they ARE taking their time and evaluating all offers. Timing has nothing to do with the final outcome here. This is just a hunch on my part but I happen to think Lombardi has an ax to grind when it comes to the Bills. I think he wanted back in the GM game and was ticked that he never got a sniff from the Bills.
  20. Yea I'm in the same boat. Got the white throwback so I'd hate to shelve it. I think under a new staff, Edwards can be serviceable. Thanks NEVERGIVEUP for another solid update.
  21. In the history of really ugly Bills merchandise, this has to be the worst. But I will say, the snap enclosure at the top is MOEY.
  22. Hard to see what the down side of this signing would be.
