  1. Buffalo's grittiness gives it a SOUL that is simply missing from many booming areas of the US. When I recall the fall leaves, street hockey in the winter with those orange "hockey balls", the long gray-sky days of winter, and my cousins saying "hey youuuse guys", my memories are fond, not bitter or regretful at all. In my Houston office my PROUD Buffalo roots are plain as day. I have plenty of Bills and Sabres memorabilia proudly displayed, leaving no doubt where I'm from.
  2. OK, well I live 1500 miles away and I'm up to about $6K in "commitment" this season. How much more would you like me to pay?
  3. Stay busy. It's not about you. Thanks.
  4. Oh, wasn't sure you'd be back considering you were M.I.A. last week. So I guess when they lose you'll return to remind us all how smart you are, but when they win you'll stay under your rock? You're quite the man's man!
  5. Nice work. Make sure you bring it once you get inside. This part of Houston will be rocking as well!
  6. Awesome. They need to get him into the locker room before the game.
  7. So Jack, what are YOU doing or going to do to ensure a Bills victory today?
  8. Not sure. Not everyone understands how earsplitting a shaken pom pom is. And to think 50,000 of them, oh my!
  9. If everyone keeps up the multiple voting, the OP's statement may prove prophetic.
  10. VERY well done. Congratulations, this is an achievement.
  11. I guess you want to build it with Chinese money, because nobody else has enough to build your dome.
  12. Exactly. Mr. J-E-T-S, what you may not know about Chan Gailey is, he actually calls plays and formations that exploit the weaknesses of his opponent - he does NOT try to play into their strengths.
  13. I've already been to my 2 for the year so I'll be watching on the Ticket. Saving up for a January trip, though! Get that place rocking on Sunday!!!
  14. I agree with everything you have stated. While Nix and Whaley certainly deserve credit for the Urbik and Pears pickups, we have to remember that part of that success is due to our being so high in the waiver wire priority order (I believe it goes in the same order as where you drafted, in our case #3). We likely will not be in that "favorable" a waiver position in future years.
  15. In re-reading this article, I realize it is no small thing that Ralph is open to paying back the State (possibly hundreds of millions) if the team leaves before the end of the lease. With this relocation fee in place, PLUS the fee the NFL will collect for any franchise relocation, we are talking about a lot of financial disincentives for any prospective new owner looking to buy and move this team. To the extent that all of this discourages full and open bidding on the Bills, it means that Ralph IS WILLING TO TAKE LESS THAN THE MAX FOR HIS ESTATE FROM THE SALE OF THE BILLS. If we do not appreciate this as fans, we really have our eyes shut tight.
  16. Andy did a great job, and I really like how Gailey goes out of his way to praise him publicly. I'm sure he's doing it in the locker room too.
  17. I think we can count on that.
  18. I don't think he went anywhere. Our offense takes what the other team gives us, so his stats will vary by opponent, depending on how they play us and what their strengths are.
  19. He has nice short area quickness.
  20. Keeping the beard going...
  21. Hmmmm...very interesting indeed. Conceptually, it sounds a bit like what this fella said a few weeks ago: My link Ol' Ralph and Billnut....great minds think alike I guess.
