  1. After reading the article above, read the article on Bill Walsh's draftisms. Kind of puts it in perspective.
  2. If Kuechly is there, it's him. If Kuechly is gone and Gilmore is there, it's Gilmore. If Kuechly and Gilmore are gone and Floyd's there, it's Floyd. I'd really like Kuechly then Cordy Glenn in R2.
  3. The standout of that video is Spiller. The guy's gonna be good.
  4. Belichick would not willingly part with a guy he believed could help him win. This should not be over-thought.
  5. I think that would make our pick pretty obvious, actually.
  6. What is this AAA affinity offer? I have AAA so maybe I can get this bill credit.
  7. He's definitely a building block type of guy. Hard to pass up if he's there.
  8. I agree, I also requested an SI mag last year because I couldn't get one in Houston. Through private messages, Hammer graciously agreed to save one for me and when I arrived on gameday I tracked him down. Even though he was extremely busy with managing his lot, he took the time to bring me across the street to get me the magazine. Could not have been nicer. Many thanks again, Hammer!
  9. I also immediately noticed this strange reaction, and came on here to see if I was the only one. It definitely was an unusual reaction, we just don't know exactly what it means, or whether it was rehearsed or not.
  10. I agree that Glenn is a Nix-type OL, but I disagree with the statement that he's got lots of experience at tackle. As far as OT, I say that Nix will only take Kalil in round 1, if Kalil's not there he'll go with Kuechly.
  11. Glenn is an interesting case. Clearly has the huge body that Nix and Chan covet at a position of need, but there are questions about him as a LT (can he stay with speed rushers coming off the end? can his mammoth body and long arms compensate for his second tier athleticism)? I heard Charley Casserley say on NFLN that he has Glenn as a RT, due to the above questions. With Fred Jackson in the backfield (rated as the most efficient pass blocking RB in the NFL), does this allow you to take a chance on Glenn? Can't wait to find out.
  12. As much as Buddy loves picks, I would not be shocked if he makes an exception in this case and pulls the trigger to get Kalil. A plug and play, prototypical LT is mighty tempting.
  13. Ah, pizza box wisdom. This is why I keep coming back to TBD.
  14. I must have missed them say they "will draft 2 tackles". Who said it, when, got link?
  15. Joe, wondering if you/Jim would consider coming to Bflo for home opener wknd. Will cover all costs (50 yard line tix, food, room, car) except for your air fare. Will bring Mom so you, Jim, Mom & I could all spend Sat & Sun together at the game. Mom's in if you are. Let me know what you think. Hope you agree, small investment of $ & time for mini-reunion while we still ca...

  16. I like what I am reading! Good to see the OP back in good spirits. I also agree that the vibe is undeniable, the Bills are on the rise. Sound decisions...improving culture among the players...growing enthusiasm by players wanting to be a Bill...no doubt that Buddy and Chan are building something real.
  17. If we take Kuechly, does that mean we blew it last year with the Kelvin Sheppard pick? Or is he your BPA?
  18. Hope and suspect you're right. Bills put in too much effort last year to have the rug pulled from under them. I really like the new unis.
  19. George Wilson's in NYC today, most likely to "model" the new unis at Nike's unveiling. Based on this appearance I'm sure we'll get a look at them soon, even possibly on BB.com. Wilson in NYC
  20. Have a link? Or a vague, nonverifiable claim of "insider" status?
  21. Didn't know Dennis Leary was a Bills fan!
  22. Thanks. Forgot the Skins and Packers. You can't blame the guy for testing the market and trying to cash in. At least he knows what the market is now!
  23. Where are you seeing this? If accurate, that would make visits to the Cards, Steelers & Eagles all with no contract executed.
  24. What is giving you that impression?
