  1. I got a Nike jersey ($100 version) from the Bills store. I like the fit (shorter and more fitted). I also like that they make a men's small size - at least recognizing that not every Bills fan is 250 lbs+. Unfortunately, the Bills store sent me the wrong color so I'm waiting on the return.
  2. At an absolute minimum, Buddy SAW FIRSTHAND how to get it done.
  3. Maybe because it had a direct quote from Wannstedt. That's authoritative enough of an endorsement for me.
  4. 'Ol Dwight - still scouting like his hair's on fire!
  5. See username, formerly Williamsville.
  6. I'd ask the OP to name another Bills offseason in which more quality moves were made in terms of resigning core players, inking top-shelf key free agents, and selecting draftees with highly productive college careers. Why is it better for Bills fans to be skeptical at this point?
  7. I'll let the OP answer - he used the phrase first. But if you google the phrase you'll see it has a generic meaning beyond the old credit card brand.
  8. This has been, by far, the best offseason I can ever remember. Even a fan like me can see this team coming together, right before my eyes.
  9. Sorry if I hurt your feelings. Anyway, I also do not think the directions this year from Ralph were different than any other year. It's just being spent smarter now.
  10. Either that, or carte blanche.
  11. I thought I read the other day that the same source that had passers at a 103 rating vs. Florence, had Aaron Williams actually worse statistically.
  12. After this offseason, Buddy needs to be up there.
  13. It's WAY too early to predict. After minicamp ends a week from now we'll have a much better idea how this game will unfold.
  14. My answer to this would be, as it was last year, to use the pass to set up the run.
  15. Billnut Jr. and I will be at the game and may stop by. Is there a kitty that everyone pitches into?
  16. To those of you doubting the correlation of physical fitness and quality QB play, watch .
  17. That's possible. I guess there's not much room for Brooks' score to be lower than Peterson's. Googling wasn't much help but I saw this analysis of Brooks on a LSU Tigers fan site: "Ron Brooks- The super-sleeper of the draft. Brooks had the unfortunate college experience of playing with Patrick Peterson, Mo Claiborne and Tyrann Mathieu. Due to the overall talent Brooks was stuck playing as a key reserve in the LSU defensive backfield. When he did play key minutes, it was hard not to pay close attention to Brooks. He can play man/zone coverage, he can come off the edge with elite speed against either the run or the pass and can become a team’s returner if needed. I don’t expect many pro bowls from Brooks, but a very steady career."
  18. Lots of diehard LSU fans down here, so I contacted one I work with to find out about CB Ron Brooks, our 4th round pick. I thought some of you would be interested so FWIW here's his response: I predict you will be very happy with Ron Brooks. The guy is amazing! LSU's strongest positions year after year are the Defensive Backs. We must have one helluva DB coach who I never hear about. Ron won MVP in a couple of big games if I remember correctly. The only reason you didn't hear more about him is because LSU has consistently had the #1 (Patrick Peterson) & #2 (Tyran Mathieu, Heisman candidate) CBs in the nation playing ahead of him. It doesn't get a lot of press but I also think Ron's academics may have held him back. I just recently heard he got some abysmal score on a nationally recognized test. I also think academics is how our QBs ended up 1st & 2nd string. Academic success is a bonus in Les Miles contract.
  19. Great thread. When does training camp start?
  20. What show was this on? Maybe I can catch it on a re-run.
