Yesterday took me back to the 80's, plus we're 1-0 with them. I vote to keep them.

Are they so painful to watch because we're so emotionally invested, or because they play like boneheads? I think it's both.

Oh my...I'm sure his teammates are motivated to get Maybin that party he deserves.

Tashard wouldn't be my first choice either (see what I did there?), but in my opinion at this point the "right guy to do it" is the guy that actually does it! If the players are too close, SOMEBODY'S got to step up and tell the emperor he has no clothes. I honestly don't know why Gailey hasn't lit into the team - even if it's out of character for him, he still needs to push the buttons the TEAM needs pushed, even if it's not what he likes to do.

I don't understand the 365 day-a-year fascination with the draft. I think some people would rather have their team draft well than do well in the actual NFL season. The draft is a means to an end folks, it's week 6 of the NFL season!

I don't understand how anyone could feel comfortable in a place like that. To each his own I guess.

Let's be honest, Freddie did look stunningly, alarmingly slow last week. I can only hope that it's due to the knee brace. The fact that he's talking about hopefully getting it off this week tells me that the brace IS an issue for him.

I really like Stevie's competitive fire and unwillingness to settle for bad play. He has implied recently that he wants to show more of this but is being tamped down by someone. I find it surprising that more players on this team don't have Stevie's attitude. With the Merriman and Moorman releases, Buddy has established that you perform or you are gone no matter who you are, and I would think that would help build an impatient mindset among more of the players.

Cool. I just ordered the book from Amazon. Whenever I return to Buffalo, I always find it bittersweet, so I'm looking forward to reading this.
