  1. I see what you did there.
  2. Now that is funny.
  3. Do you really want to hear Jeremy "know-it-all" White (who doesn't, BTW) talking Bills football? Joe B and Murph are the only worthwhile Bills programming on the air. I listen to them "on demand", but listening to the station live is usually a waste.
  4. Link? I recall no timeframe given for Buddy's departure.
  5. Exactly how many plays has he made or not made? I have't seen a play by play narrative, only thumbnail reports. Guess you are one up on me.
  6. Agree, in fact I think he could easily be the day 1 starter. Also, I think Searcy will start over Duke Williams.
  7. Have you read the link directly above your post?
  8. Agree. And how about the scouting and pro personnel staffs, as well as the assistant GM position? Buddy has upgraded everywhere, with the latest upgrade likely at head coach.
  9. OP: thanks for changing the thread title. Hate coming to TSW for football chat and and seeing that garbage.
  10. Apparently Buddy...he traded away the guy he picked.
  11. After watching this video, does anyone still think Buddy's not in charge of the football side? The "Whaley's in charge" bs was flying all over TBD during the draft.
  12. I may be a sucker, but I can't remember a year when I COULDN'T find something to be hopeful about.
  13. Tim Brando, who watches a lot of college ball, thinks Gragg was a steal in the 7th round. Check out Brando's comments at 6:40 of this video.
  14. I guess the marketing guy can wheel and deal as well as sell hope.
  15. Sadly, my collection is a veritable chronicle of Bills futility. I have a throwback white Trent Edwards (which is actually a very cool looking jersey if you disregard the name & number), a Nike white Fitzpatrick which is now unwearable, and a blue Dareus that I got as a club seat incentive, unfortunately it's too big for me. This year, I decided to grow up a bit and buy something timeless - a dri-fit polo. Coincidentally, it just arrived in the mail a few minutes ago.
  16. See, now I haven't found Marrone to be particuarly insightful in his interviews. Nor do I really want him to be. I think he tries, like every other coach, to sound articulate while actually saying as little as possible so as not to concede ANY competitive advantage to his opponents.
  17. The impact of drafting Nassib would have been to completely undermine your 1st round pick before he ever steps on the practice field. The national media (and others here) would have absolutely panned the Bills for lacking conviction in the pick they made just two rounds earlier. I would envision hearing them say "if you think you needed to draft a qb two rounds behind Manuel, how can you then justify selecting Manuel with the 16th pick?"
  18. Marrone on Sirius with Rich Gannon talking about their research on QBs and why Manuel projects to have success in Buffalo's weather. I found it interesting.
  19. I think you nailed it Kelly. I like others am a little concerned with pass pro. Maybe Zebrie fits in as a guard, or the Syracuse FA guard they are signing. If they can figure out the o-line play, this could be a very fun offense to watch.
  20. I know Buddy's not popular, but the fact that the Bills team was able to analyze this situation, break down the facts and get at the truth shows a certain level of awesomeness on the part of our front office. In my opinion it's more likely that he used Rogers to try to grease the skids in advance to obtain more favorable contracts for Woods and Goodwin.
  21. Imagine making it to the absolute pinnacle of your profession and...having to wear that.
  22. Rubes, I don't get your point. What has changed between last year's Nike rollout and today? I see no difference other than a SLIGHTLY smaller section of white on the collar. That doesn't fix much IMO! Has there been any news or media chatter about a collar change? I haven't heard any.
