  1. Bills over Pats*, 24-20 in the rain.
  2. Thanks for posting.
  3. As the nfl.com article posted in the other Byrd thread makes clear, the window on any kind of trade is essentially closed now. Few teams can afford to pick up Byrd's contract, and Byrd's trade value to the Bills has bottomed out while he's recovering. This being the case, I think Byrd and Parker know that the most direct route to their goal (long term contract with SOMEBODY) is to play and play well. If there's any hope of a trade this year, Byrd will have to showcase himself on the field. He'll be on the field as soon as he thinks he can play well. Any delays in playing would be either due to how his feet feel, or due to not feeling comfortable yet with Pettine's system.
  4. Parker says there's no truth to the rumor he's actively seeking a trade at this time. Link
  5. Rapoport on NFL Network just said Byrd is "open" to a trade but is not pushing for one. Also it was stated that Byrd's injury plus another team's inability now to negotiate a long term contract make a trade tough to pull off this season.
  6. Thanks. Been a long time since I rode alongside my uncle as a patron of that place.
  7. Great answers, sounds very mature. Glad to know he's our new franchise QB.
  8. OK, the two Buffalo foods I miss most that I can't get down here are Weber's mustard and Buffalo pizza. I'm going to the opener and staying just off Transit Road in Bowmansville. My mainstay for the last few years has been Bozanna's in Clarence but now I hear they are closed. Looking for your pizza recommendations and want to make it clear that I will travel for the best pizza. What do you recommend? Also a bonus question - anyone know if I can still get wings from Scharf's near Schiller Park? That's a nostalgia thing for me. Thanks.
  9. This just in - Ralph is not cheap.
  10. I think my favorite part of the show was watching Sharrif Floyd getting his bell rung by Eric Pears, then saying afterwards "I've never been hit that hard in my whole life.'
  11. Yup, my daughter made me promise to stop at Wahl's this weekend to bring her back some sponge candy.
  12. At least one stop at Mighty Taco is obligatory, also.
  13. Wow, that's disappointing. Now I'll need to find another place.
  14. You lost me at "pizza (new York style)". Now if you want Buffalo pizza, I happen to like Bozanna's in Clarence.
  15. I follow the team pretty closely, especially what Coach Pettine has had to say this preaseason, and I could swear I remember him saying that he did not plan to match up his #1 corner (he was talking about Gilmore at the time) with the opponent's #1 receiver, but instead was going to keep his #1 guy on the same side of the field the whole game. I remember this because when I heard it I said "huh"? Anyone else recall this?
  16. Are you aware that EJ is practicing today? Most likely he's the starter.
  17. Is Wood's signing bonus included in that?
  18. Wow, what a coincidence. Almost the same spelling as the guy that played recently for the Bills (Leinart)! And both are from California too!
  19. This writer is essentially rooting for the Bills to entertain the rest of the league by keeping the Tebow story alive. How shallow can you get?
  20. Seriously, at what store would you even buy find a Leinart jersey? Seems like the only ones available are EJ, Stevie, Freddie, Dareus, Gilmore and Mario.
  21. You are right. Inside the stadium, 107.7 on regular FM radio worked, but it was not streamed. So my question is, is there any FM station that will carry the PBP live and non-delayed?
  22. Good thread! When 97 Rock had the contract and was on the Bills radio network, their sister station 107.7 had the non-delayed PBP available online (via smartphones inside the stadium). Anyone know of a non-delayed broadcast available online?
