  1. Very cool indeed. Got pictures of my son with Thurman, Kelly and George Wilson this way. Also some cool pics of my son sitting on the Bills bench and looking into the replay booth.
  2. It's been stated in similar threads earlier this year that AM 1520 broadcasts the game in synch with live action, but my experience with 1520 in the stadium was that the signal was extremely weak to the point of being useless. Maybe it was just my radio. I wish you better luck.
  3. Sir, I think you may be replying to me. You may want to re-read my post - it's not as extreme as you make it out to be. I take no issue with casual followers, and I understand that the Bills themselves have created many of these. To each, his own. My point is simply, if you are within 3 hours, able-bodied and financially able, and if you choose not to attend even ONE game all year, you aren't exactly an "enthusiastic devotee" (dictionary.com definition of a sports fan).
  4. Yup, and the ones Carey Bender mentioned. When evaluating arguments here, I favor smarts over snark any day of the week.
  5. This is a correct answer. Have been on the field 2x and both were incentives tied to club seat purchases. I'm in the Jim Kelly club BTW.
  6. How about last year's loss to the Titans?
  7. Just to put this in perspective, if I could commute a mere 3 hours each way every week to see the Bills play, I'd be in heaven. As it is, I have season tickets but can only commute in 2x a year to actually attend. As tough as it admittedly is to be a Bills fan, and supporter, and investor, I'm convinced that many locals take for granted what a treasure it is to have an NFL team in their tiny burgh. It pains me to see that we may be the first non-sellout in the NFL this year. I'd venture to say that a good percentage of fan bases of teams in big cities (who pay far more for tickets than we do, BTW) come from the suburbs to watch their teams, and commute at least two hours each way. Is that significantly different from commuting in to the Ralph from Syracuse? My point is, if you are able-bodied, not destitute, live within 3 hours of the Ralph and do not attend even one game this year, in my book you are a casual follower and not a fan. I think many forget that "fan" is short for fanatic".
  8. FWIW, Brandon on GR this morning was directly asked if they were actively shopping Byrd, and he completely denied it. Said they answer all incoming calls, but the idea of shopping Byrd hasn't even been discussed.
  9. With our current QB situation, extrapolation of Chandler's current numbers is likely to be highly inaccurate, IMHO.
  10. This just in - EJ is a rookie and we have to be patient with him.
  11. It's possible that Whaley did his due diligence on him when he was coming out and wasn't thrilled even then. It's also possible that Freeman is looking for a more attractive spot where he has a better chance to start long term. Most likely, we'll never know the truth.
  12. I loved that game as a kid. Man that sure does take me back!
  13. #11 - if only it were that simple. The Browns WR got a hand on the ball and tipped it before it got to Searcy. Had Searcy hung onto the ball, it would have been a near miracle.
  14. Jerry Hughes > Kelvin Sheppard
  15. We didn't lose because of coaching, we lost due to injuries that resulted in a lack of offensive firepower.
  16. I think he HAS broken out, most just haven't noticed it yet.
  17. 7.5 sacks after 5 games. He's on a monster pace. Deal with it, haters.
