  1. Glenn vs. Martin: this is a race that has never been close. Among all of Buddy's solid OL moves, this was his best. And he was out there with "Hell no he ain't a guard" when the popular opinion was that Cordy would never be a successful tackle. Kudos to Buddy on getting us a rock of a LT for the next several years. Oh and Jonathan Martin is a weakling.
  2. Marv Levy wasn't that good of a coach. Buddy Nix was underrated, as was Tom Donahoe. The Toronto Series is a must for the long term viability of the franchise. Russ Brandon is the best thing that has ever happened to the Bills, in terms of keeping the team economically viable in Buffalo in the post-Wilson era.
  3. Murph's main job is play-by-play; Kelso is supposed to be the analyst. ^^ actually made me laugh out loud.
  4. I've heard over the years that Bills fans are out in force when the Bills play in Miami. It appears that way on TV although it's hard to tell for sure. For those who've seen a game there, what % of the crowd is Bills fans? Is it noticeably loud when Miami is on offense or when the Bills make a good play in general? I'm interested to know if there's a Bills "feel" to the crowd or if the Bills fans generally stay reserved until a good play happens.
  5. Watch the screen! Watch the screen!
  6. Man, the guy is bilingual too. The legend grows with each passing day...
  7. I would like to see a stronger case made for scrapping the hurry up offense. I'm not seeing the downside to the hurry up, in fact here's my argument to the contrary: Supposedly Marrone has studied recent history and hasn't seen significant defensive problems caused by it. We are scoring fairly consistently with it (with multiple QBs BTW, which suggests to me that it is effective in limiting defensive substitutions and thus contributing to our overall offensive success). Our running game seems to be effective in keeping us out of third and longs, reducing the number of 3 and outs. I see evidence that opposing defenses are getting worn down late.
  8. i didn't think the interview was brutal at all. Rome sounded like he was thoroughly enjoying it, and not just hyping.
  9. Apparently not, but clearly he does a lot of bone work for pros. Thanks, I'm here all week.
  10. Good points and nice Uncle Rico reference.
  11. Happy Birthday Mr. Wilson. Thanks for remaining loyal to Buffalo all these years.
  12. Who's ever suggested that?
  13. Piling up? Piling up? They don't know piling up.
  14. Still circling the practice field at St. John Fisher.
  15. Yippee. That, sir, is a very big IF.
  16. Wow. Some of you still have hope?
  17. You're trying for a positive thread, right? So why say "changing of GUARD"?
  18. Agree to a point. Seems like we win close games only about 10% of the time, far fewer than our share.
  19. Experience at QB and HC, and playmaking WRs.
  20. Stunning how this team can't keep a QB.
  21. Pretty sure that in 2013, WGR is NOT synced to live action.
  22. Was watching news coverage of the political events on MSNBC last night when they showed one of the politicians being interviewed in the Capitol lobby by a throng of media. Suddenly Luke Russert (NBC Capitol Hill correspondent) comes walking into the picture behind the politician to take notes. And what is Russert wearing around his neck? A Buffalo Bills lanyard. The image of the Bills logo on TV just to the side of a major politician's face was so bizarre, it cracked me up.
