I would like to see a stronger case made for scrapping the hurry up offense.
I'm not seeing the downside to the hurry up, in fact here's my argument to the contrary:
Supposedly Marrone has studied recent history and hasn't seen significant defensive problems caused by it.
We are scoring fairly consistently with it (with multiple QBs BTW, which suggests to me that it is effective in limiting defensive substitutions and thus contributing to our overall offensive success).
Our running game seems to be effective in keeping us out of third and longs, reducing the number of 3 and outs.
I see evidence that opposing defenses are getting worn down late.
