  1. Thanks guys. Some good options there. Will try to confirm which options offer non-delayed feeds. If I can find something out I'll post it here for others' use.
  2. Bumping as I leave work and begin the trip north.
  3. Does anyone know where to tune in for the radio-by-play, synched to real time? Thanks. I did a search on this before posting and came up empty.
  4. See you there bro! I've done it twice before and the spot I like is just to the left of the Bills bench. That's most likely where I'll be on Sun - in the past it was a good spot to see the LBs warming up right in front of you and the DLs also run by there very close.
  5. Some interesting stats mentioned on WGR just now. Apparently the website seatgeek.com compiles stats on ticket prices shown on various ticket sales websites (the legit ones like stubhub, etc). Seatgeek is reporting that the cheapest tickets for the Bills opener are the highest-priced "cheap seats" for any NFL game this weekend. That is almost unbelievable considering that the San Fran stadium is hosting it's first regular season game this weekend. Good luck with that takeover thing.
  6. The story on the Bills website raises an interesting question. It says the jersey patch will be worn for the 2014 season. I'm sure the 2014 qualifier was included out of respect for TP, but I have to think that TP will keep the patch on the jersey in perpetuity.
  7. Every Bills fan should read that. I'm not sure if the true story is quite as dramatic as the author makes it out to be, but there is no question that Mr. Wilson kept his word to WNY, and then some. He knew exactly what he was doing in getting that lease pushed through, and I shake my head in disbelief at people who still refuse to give him his due credit.
  8. This. He's still shaking the rust off. I think he'll improve as the season goes on, and I think the coaches realize that too.
  9. Yes, you guys have convinced me, it was the Finance Committee meeting next week. But a nice coincidence it is!
  10. I was also thinking that the timing was possibly intentional, but it wasn't about gaining any competitive advantage. I think that since Sunday was going to be all about honoring Ralph, the trust wanted to ensure a completely positive "memorial celebration" by locking up the sale to the home town guy beforehand.
  11. Anyone who doubts EJ needs to watch that. And the block by E Wood was awesome. You just can't appreciate that in real time (unless you're Lance Briggs).
  12. Here's a link to a nice little tailgate at a classic Bills tailgate location, Hammers Lot: https://www.google.com/maps/place/4170+Abbott+Rd,+Orchard+Park,+NY+14127/@42.7699003,-78.790736,569m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x89d30582d274f435:0x8a841a9e0e4cac37?hl=en
  13. Valid points, all. Just watching NFL Total Access (on NFL Network) and they put the sale on their "rotation" of stories they are covering, but they spent a total of about 1 minute on the sale and a brief Pegula bio. It's simply not sensational (for non-Bills fans, who just don't get it). By contrast, for those of us in Bills nation, this story is everything. In fairness, how can outsiders possibly understand the significance of how our gritty little town continues to hang with the big boys in the NFL. And someday, may rule them all. Wow.
  14. Sorry to hear, Mead. Was looking forward to meeting you.
  15. Very classy and mature of Fred, on a day like today, to look back and thank your and your family's benefactor.
  16. To my knowledge, they never got around to actually collecting money. Either that, or they were very poor fundraisers. I say that because I emailed them inquiring about donating, and never got a reply.
  17. Broke is clearly a relative term.
  18. For all you tax experts - doesn't a higher sales price now increase the "basis" and therefore ease the tax burden way down the road?
  19. Yes, thanks to Kirby and Bandit!
  20. I can relate Lv, but that's what makes this site so cool.
  21. Story coming up on NFL Network, too.
  22. Thank you Ms. Wilson. You and your husband have created and now preserved not only a WNY institution, but something that generations of families have bonded over. This goes far beyond sports. Again, thank you. I look forward to the unveiling of Mr. Wilson's statue in Buffalo.
  23. I signed a 3 year contract extension for my clubs and got one pass as a result (one pass per club seat, for one game). Not sure if Eugene Parker reps for fans, but if so you might look into that and get on the field every Sunday.
