  1. I don't understand the basis of your skepticism. Brandon himself has been on WGR stating that Bills fans should get to their sets early on Sunday. And he was not referring to taking pressure off of Gate 2. Wish I could be there!
  2. Exactly what I was thinking.
  3. Wish I could be there. Hopefully bb.com has video of some of the pregame ceremonies.
  4. Nice! I like how he was chiming in when Freddie gave his pep talk.
  5. Whoever recorded that had some nice seats.
  6. Highlighting Crossman is a bit curious. Remind me what exactly he did on Carpenter's game-winning kick?
  7. "Bills aren't going to hold back this weekend"? What does this even mean?
  8. Spiller's pass pro is embarrassing. Move on.
  9. Mine is for Chandler. "Dufus" Decent hands, absolutely no elusiveness, zero YAC. Get a finger on him, he's down on the spot.
  10. Dan Carpenter for President?
  11. I'm so relieved that this is an internet thread after all, rather than just another stupid EJ thread.
  12. I agree with this completely. Orton isn't starting Sunday necessarily to beat the Lions, but more so to put us in better position to beat the Pats*. As far as playoff considerations go, it's win the AFC east or bust. The reverse holds true for K. Williams and Bradham. If they're on the fence about playing, they'll sit Sunday and get ready for the Pats*.
  13. My thought is if either Kyle or Nigel are close, they will both sit. I think the Bills realize they MUST take out the Pats* at all cost, and will keep their powder dry until then.
  14. Cheap shot. He's thrown a few nice medium-to-deep balls - just off the top of my head: to Williams in the EZ (Giants game), Chandler's over the shoulder sideline grab, the ball right on Sammy' hands on the goal line (I believe the Miami game) that was knocked away...
  15. I see a man completely in control of the situation. He said exactly what he wanted to say, and not one iota more. He even stopped questioners when he knew where they were going and had heard enough. I liked how he was irritated at being asked how his play would surpass EJs' - that's a sign of a solid guy and a good teammate. Granted this was not exactly a stressful situation, but I can't help but watch and think, this guy seems mentally tough.
  16. There's one in every thread. So, all the receivers have it wrong and you're right? Really?
  17. Please tell me these photos are fakes.
  18. No, EJ's benching alone does not (and should not) make Whaley look bad. The final record is much more determinative. Besides, I don't think EJ's career is over by a long shot. Well said.
  19. I really liked his appearance on the John Murphy show where, when asked about the D's performance to date, he said "I'm not impressed". Maybe the kid is growing up.
  20. What were those reports? I read a BB.com article where Hackett is quoted as saying he was not consulted, but that's not the same as reporting that Marrone was not consulted. Do you have a link to that? I'd enjoy reading that.
  21. Fans with a short term view may find this damning, but I don't think EJ's story has been fully written yet. And Whaley has made a number of good moves. I expect the Bills to finish over .500 and if they do, Whaley stays.
  22. Would not be surprised if they sit both players this Sunday regardless of the MRI results, in an effort to reload against the Pats*.
  23. ^^ agree with all of this. ^^
