  1. Ok that's just terrifying. Rob was forced out of NOLA in large part because he was routinely late getting his calls in. If he's the communication answer then I hope he's done something that the Ryans aren't exactly known for, which is admitting weaknesses and fixing them instead of doubling down by conducting business as usual.
  2. No offense but the "grind" you went through probably didn't involve Tempo or being put up at the nicest hotel in town. I don't think NFL players view shopping themselves around quite the same way you or I would.
  3. Are there stats indicating that secondary market sales have increased in recent years? Maybe it's just that people are buying in to the idea that the team's staying.
  4. Interesting thought there. If I'm Whaley I pick Greg Roman's brain about what caused Kaep's game to decline, how likely is it that the same thing happens to TT and, what if anything can be done to prevent that from happening?
  5. As waiver wire acquisitions on the league minimum, cap savings are negligible.
  6. Cops may have abused badges. Shocked.
  7. I'm on the 10 yard line, 25 rows up from the field, and twice this past year I saw fans vomit right in the row. One could be chalked up to a rookie fan, but the other was a 60+ year old who comes every week and should know better. Is game day better when you throw up?
  8. Any difference between how Bills and Pats* fans react to their players' off field problems can be explained by this: For years Pats* fans have watched repeated division titles and Super Bowls, we've watch serial mediocrity. Repeated bad outcomes wears on a fan base and fuels discontent. We are no better or worse people, just battered.
  9. Well it's nice that the players are being gracious about it.
  10. I'm the opposite of this. I bought seasons and club seats while out of town to support the team and, in a small way, help keep it viable. But now that Pegula is locked in, I'm going to drop my clubs when my 3 year commitment expires.
  11. Not sure what amazes me more, this fact, or the idea that people track it.
  12. Personally I see a lot to be concerned about with 2 Ryans running our defense. Both brothers have had documented problems getting their players ready to play at the snap, so which one will be a check on the other?
  13. So in your mind the selection of Rex is squarely on Whaley and not on Terry, Kim, Russ or some combination thereof?
  14. Clearly they need a safety who can run Rex's defense authoritatively, the way Jim Leonard used to. If the rumor is true about Reed, he might be a good choice to help teach it.
  15. Your sanity and rationality is appreciated. Hopefully it stems the tide of dumb.
  16. Even with the existence of a waiting list?
  17. Ancient history. I'm looking forward to the thread complaining about the 2016 schedule.
  18. I agree. Very disappointing and disturbing. On the surface, injuries appear to be largely random but it just happens too much to this team, seemingly year in and year out. Maybe something a consultant could look at.
  19. What? Cool. This is why I got my Jeep! Coming in from Pittsburgh (no snow down there).
  20. Is this really newsworthy? Hasn't everyone done this at least once?
  21. That's as bad as it gets. The good news is, it gives even a rookie owner like Pegula an easy opportunity to ask Rex, "what the heck was that"? DT (or whoever's being protected) is as good as gone.
  22. I don't think a large scale season ticket holder exodus will happen, but if it did I don't think it would immediately move Pegula. I don't believe he's as revenue-sensitive as Ralph was.
