  1. My understanding is the "free food" part of the party is just in the field house, and that's offered to club seat & suite holders. For people in the stadium its pay-to-eat. By the way, I have 2 tickets to the field house event that I won't be using. If any vets want to PM me, they are welcome to those tickets.
  2. Possible pre-draft smokescreen designed to entice QB-needy team to give up a fortune to move to #19?
  3. Camp Rd. Red Roof booked for the Thurs nite tilt. Let's hope the rumors are true.
  4. Do we have dates attached to week 1, week 2, etc?
  5. Cueing up the Red Roof reservations page...
  6. Interesting to hear that Pegula travelled down to speak privately to Dareus and Hughes in the offseason.
  7. You're right e. The invite posted by Papazoid shows the event being held in the stadium with food and drinks available for purchase, and the club seat holder's invite shows the party in the Field house, with complimentary food and drinks. A nice upgrade for those who spend more.
  8. The invite I saw said it was for "Bills partners, suite holders and club seat members". So it appears that this perk is reserved for those laying out the bigger bucks.
  9. I see they've decided against continuing the free food and beer this year. Thanks everyone for the feedback. May go for the locker room tour, my son hasn't seen it yet.
  10. I voted for the charger but it was a tough call. I have to say, when the Bills wear the throwbacks at home it looks great. On that subject, I have an old #5 throwback Trent Edwards jersey with stitched lettering that I'd like to turn into a Taylor. Anyone know of a solid company that I could trust with removing the Edwards nameplate and replacing it with light blue Taylor lettering?
  11. I guess I need to figure out how to use twitter now. Tried to avoid it as long as I could.
  12. Planning to catch a Sabres game before the end of the season. I'm a bit of a seat snob, so I was hoping to get some opinions on what's the best seats for a Sabres game. I assume section 105 behind the benches is good, but what row gives the best perspective? Appreciate hearing everyone's thoughts.
  13. This post reveals to me that you're more insightful than your earlier posts led me to believe. I was ready to write you off based on some of your earlier debating with Kirby, but maybe I was misreading. By all means, take the above as a compliment. It's clear that maximizing revenue is the predominant driver of the path chosen. But since the Pegulas appear to be highly mindful about maintaining good PR, whichever path is chosen will have to be one that the Pegulas are 100% comfortable with selling to their customers. It will be interesting to see how they attempt to thread the needle.
  14. Banner's statement about the capacity of a new stadium assumes that by limiting supply, you increase demand and yield a revenue increase as a result. That makes sense in a larger market but not sure how well that theory applies to Buffalo. Brandon has repeatedly said that the Bills are a volume business. Is that paradigm driven by the large stadium, or by the composition of the market, or both? I trust Brandon far more than an outsider like Banner to find the sweet spot for the Pegulas.
  15. Blake > Dauber (aka Jeff Weeks)
  16. I hope they don't go with Dunbar's assiatant, Jeff Weeks. In "Collision Low Crossers", Weeks was described as being one of Rex's buddies, almost a comic figure that wasn't well respected due to his suspect work ethic.
  17. Looking for some intel on the Bills draft party, I believe they hold it in the field house. Is it worth the ride over? In past years it was out of the question with my being in Houston but with last year's move to Pittsburgh it's much closer. Any descriptions/opinions would be appreciated, thanks.
