  1. So apparently his M.O. is to fake a personality when he's a position coach, and eradicate it completely when he's a head coach.
  2. OK I'll play along. OSHA could enforce whatever worker safety guidelines they decided to put in place for employers of football players - none of which currently exist. Obviously I was speaking hypothetically.
  3. Yup. And OSHA has no jurisdiction over any level of football where the players aren't being paid as employees. (It could be argued that OSHA could enforce against D-1 schools who do pay their players).
  4. Thanks Augie. I wonder how Pats* apologists would respond to this data?
  5. Which ones are those? As much as I fully expected the year end stats to show anomaly-level lows for the Pats* as the season wore on, I don't recall them actually showing that. Do you have actual stats to confirm your comment?
  6. That was Corey McIntyre, case of mistaken identity, cleared of all charges.
  7. Thank you for the injection of common sense.
  8. This. I think many are forgetting that Woods played hurt last year. Sure he falls down a lot and can play overly emotional at times but he's a solid #2. I noticed that when Tyrod was on the JMS about a week ago he noted that Woods looked "explosive" in the workouts. Hopefully he'll have a bounce back year.
  9. I don't mean to be obtuse, but in one sentence or less, what is it that I should be concerned with?
  10. It's debatable whether OTAs simulate real football.
  11. Pretty sure his career did NOT predate Madonna's.
  12. I'm not following you. Who was Roman unknown to?
  13. Nice find, good vintage stuff. Nice to hear Van's calls again.
  14. Appropriate that he was wearing a wife-beater t-shirt while the others were in Chicago in $600 suits.
  15. That's unfortunate. Kelly was not at his best in those games. Week in, week out he was a warrior, a franchise culture changer, a true HOF'er.
  16. “Everybody is fired up, man,” Williams said. “Anytime you see anybody walking around — it doesn’t matter, from the front office to equipment guys, it doesn’t matter — everybody has the same type of enthusiasm and that’s definitely what I had in mind when I first came for the visit and it’s what I got.” I see a theme here - seems like for Mario it's all about what he GETS, not what he GIVES. Presumably a mini-fridge comes with the deal.
  17. Thanks 2-6. Hope they also post a video version as in past years.
  18. He does struggle with vocabulary and pronunciation but I actually think he's improving and becoming more comfortable.
  19. Ha - funny. My wife and I are in extended negotiations about this very subject right now.
  20. Agreed. The photo I remember seeing of two stakes on some patch of grass wasn't exactly awe-inspiring.
  21. F5 and hoping we're not just leverage to get him a better deal in San Diego. One would hope his familiarity with Rex and Kromer tilts this in our favor.
  22. I think it's our celebrity culture. Too many wannabes who will do anything, literally anything to be part of the story.
  23. Forgive them, they didn't know the long term effect back then.
