  1. Titans looked up for the game. Bills secondary played really well but the DLine looked useless tonight. Statistically the Bills outplayed the Titans but ultimately the score is the only number that matters.

I had a feeling when the ball bounced off Poyers helmet and was caught by Julio with a toe tap that things just weren't going to be easy tonight.

  2. Right but doing it this way I have to save my best teams to beat good teams and use average teams to beat bad teams. With bye weeks and 17 rounds and now the two team dynamic I have given myself I'm thinking the obvious pick will leave me with very little choice down the road.

None of these games jump out at me this week. The Colts have been below average this year both their D and QB regressing from last year. Hopefully the trip to the west coast may be too much for them. Fingers crossed for a Wentz clunker.

It's the way the buy-in pool I am in does it.  I'm just following that.

It seems odd to just randomly add an extra pick. Just uses up an extra option down the line. But Its done now so your thread your rules I guess. It's just for funzies after all.

Week 5 The Buffalo Bills. I am confident that the Bills are a more complete team this year than they have ever been. KC defense has been a noticeable weakness this year. Obviously a tough match up but it was always my intention to take the toughest team on the Bills schedule. Live and die by this team. Crush it lads.

I'm so chuffed that the Bills won . I'm usually rubbish at survivor so with confidence flowing I have decided to pick all different opposing teams to make it even harder for myself. I don't expect I will last much longer with this bold strategy.

Week 6 Steelers over Seahawks. As mentioned previously this is all about Geno Smith versus the Steelers D.  Picking against the Seahawks while Rus is down just seems like a smart move.

    Week 6 (b)

Cowboys over Patriots. I don't see the Pats keeping up with Dak.

Week 3 Raiders over Dolphins. They got beaten by a last second Fitzspecial last year in this matchup. This year it's in Vegas after a hot start against a team that really struggled last week.

Week 1 panthers over Jets. The Panthers have historically been a strong home team. They may have a worse QB but CMC and the D will be enough.

If that works that’s good for them, I’m not sure that’s the path to beating the Bills. They will need to score a lot of points regardless of how many possessions the Bills have. Maybe I’m wrong, Jmo but playing keep away only works for so long against explosive passing offenses.

Right. The other thing is have they got the Oline to make long possessions happen? That's what I will be watching.

PFF had them ranked 31st going Into the season ...

I don't see his vaccination status being related to taking a year off due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID. It is possible to not want to catch covid but also not being sold on the effects of the vaccine. Also, "Catching covid" was not the only reason for players sitting last year out.

That's fine. I'm really not interested in making this a covid discussion. How about this. He takes up a lot of cap space for a 1 tech and plays in the center of the trenches. His absence whatever the reason wasn't planned for and has repurcussions. He isn't liked by the fanbase. This will be the 20th consecutive game he has been absent. Not blame laying. But he needs to get himself right and be on the field. I hope he does.

IMO, you cant count COVID year as him not being dependable. He made a health/business decision, that was what it was.

He is missing his first ever game as a Bill on Sunday. otherwise he has started in every game that hes been on the roster. That is THE DEFINITION of dependable.

I like Star. I remember him making a stop on fourth and short in the playoffs against the Texans.

The issue I have is that after taking the year off (a year when he.could have made a difference), he gives the lie to that by not getting vaccinated. That doesn't engender sympathy from anyone. Either play or retire.

He skips voluntary workouts, is conspicuous by his absence, barely plays in preseason. Now misses the first game.

The Bills have a lot invested in him and his absence creates a domino effect on what other players responsibilities are on the DLine.

As far as what he did two years ago well that's what it is. On the one hand he doesn't get enough credit but on the other he is highly paid for his position so it's reasonable to have expectations. But he needs to show up this year.

I don't have time for giving him a free pass.

  13. Star improves the team. I get annoyed when people compare him to Vea. It's like comparing Oliver to Donald. Boohoo. Stop crying, support your team.

What I will say is that he hasn't been a dependable guy. It does annoy me that he opted out then didn't get vaccinated. It does annoy me that McD and Beane have more  loyalty for former players than they should.

Where have Bills seen a Clemson running back, drafted in the first round, by a team that wanted a "waterbug", but then wasn't used as a running back and instead floundered as a dump off option until the starter got injured in Year 2?

Also, like Spiller, he racked up alot of carries at Clemson, trended down in his Senior year, and is closer to a 4.40 guy than a true 4.30 guy.

Which begs the question, why would anyone select a rb top 30 when you don't Intend to use him as a 3 down back? Quality scat backs are cheap. It's just a weird logic and makes no sense when the team has so many holes.

Jags forum was also complaining about Tyson Campbell. All traits needing development. Jax is a terrible landing spot for him.

Considering both these guys were in the mix as Bills picks, I can't help wondering how different it could have been for these players.

  15.  I was very interested to have a look at Lawrence. I can really see the parallel between the Jags and Bengals. Badly run organizations that drafted unanimous #1 quarterbacks and didn't give them an oline.

I didn't see stand out impressive athletic traits from Trevor and that one scramble ended with a crunching hit. I hope for his sake that he protects himself or their season will mirror the Bengals last year.

I am perplexed by Etienne. They took him so high, and they didn't seem to know what to do with him. Now he's injured.

If you're plotting the Jags trajectory on a graph it would be sloping down right now.
