Declining the penalty was the right call. Accept it and best case scenario is you hold them to a 53 yard attempt. Worst case you give up a big play or commit a dumb penalty and keep the drive going for a TD. i agree with declining it. They were still in FG range.

JA should have put more air under that pass, but Cook also should have slowed down and drawn DPI.

That’s my biggest concern…getting pressure on the QB. As mentioned above, the last time we saw Buffalo we were going against an OL of mostly backups and STILL could not get near Burrow. Meanwhile, our OL allowed Josh to get harassed all game. There are legit concerns for me with this team. We will need Josh to be Superman IMO.

I don’t think he’s worth that money, but he has been under attack almost instantly all night. No QB would look good in these circumstances.

All I know is we better be gameplanning to putting pressure and hitting Aaron early and often. We won’t get there rushing 4 without Von.

Disagree. They CURRENTLY have more flexibility cap wise because their QB is on his rookie deal. That’s about to change. They have to find a way to get some big stars big money. And speaking of that QB, he’s pretty fragile health wise.

Well Groot, who played college ball in Miami, said it was one of the 2 or 3 hottest games he’s ever played in. But the Bills we’re entering that game on a short week and with a good amount of injuries. Then the amount of players who got injured or hurt during the game was unreal. We ended up with practice squad players on the line trying to protect Josh and a ragtag group in the secondary.

After the start to the 2008 season, I thought Trent Edwards was going to be our franchise QB.

Saffold is 34 years old and a shell of his former self. He graded terribly this past season. McGovern graded out much higher.

If he’s the guy you want, it was worth it. You don’t just have to worry about Dallas (who needs a TE), you have to worry about someone else trading up with Jax or Dallas.

Harris + Cook + Hines gives you more than Motor + Cook + Hines. You start overthinking this when you dwell on draft positions from 4 years ago.

They are two different style of backs. Cook and Hines give us the skills Devin has. Devin, Cook, and Hines all lack the power running ability that Harris brings.
