Maybe they did reach out to Decker and he didn't feel the love on the telephone. Maybe he has loved the patriots style of play for some time and Decker realized this offseason the flame still burns. Maybe our front office did reach out and fought tooth and nail to sign him but he ended up going somewhere else. This thread reminds me of the Michael Jasper hype from years ago on BBMB, a small contingency of people incredibly excited for a guy who ultimately gets cut. Completely agree, I doubt a first alone gets it done. rarely do players of his caliber at his age become available, if the FO thinks it's doable pull the trigger.

So the division 1 athlete who was drafted in the first round of the NFL draft doesn't run like an athlete?

So all the evaluations were wrong when they had him as a first round grade? I am sure there were some outliers who had him going after the first round but those opinions, like your's are an anomaly. He was a consensus 1st round prospect.

Andre Ellington was good before his injuries and then David Johnson took over, Orleans Darkwa was serviceable.

I dumped Comcast for PS Vue a couple years ago. The sports package that includes NFL network MLB NHL and NBA and tons of other channels is 60$/mo. Best decision I made, I hated comcast.

I really hope he is the exception to the rule, love the guy and love his attitude and I really hope he doesn't have the precipitous drop like most RB's do. I would love if he could be serviceable this year and we could get a stud in the mid rounds next year.
