  1. I believe my eyes as well, some of the throws he made are incredible, you can only make them with his type of arm talent. And he also makes some head scratching throws. Time will tell, but I like that we took a gamble on a guy with generational arm talent and a insanely quick release. And you are spot on, every one of these QB's had negatives, but none of them have the ceiling that Allen does. Go bills.
  2. When Cam had his MVP year he seemed to be able to adjust to the improvising, I think playing with a guy like cam for as many years as he did will help him understand how to react to a QB who can improv.
  3. With our OL I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Luke Joeckel, he is young enough (26 or 27) we could kick the tires and see if he has anything. Other than that we will have to wait for cuts or make a creative trade to get someone who can be an instant weapon.
  4. I was wondering the same thing, I personally don't see Kerley starting either.
  5. For every head scratcher he throws he also has throws where you say "How did he do that?" the kid has undeniable arm talent and a crazy quick release. I really hope once he is with a strong supporting cast he will shine. It will be beneficial for him to have Kelvin Benjamin to throw it up to. It will also be nice to have someone with an arm that can fit it in any window that is open. I am glad we will finally see someone who can use the middle of the field. All in all I am glad we finally took a risk and got "The Guy" our F/O wanted. In the end it will either set our franchise up for the next 10-15 years or set up back 5, here is to hoping we are set for the next decade plus. Go Bills
  6. I'm glad someone took time to write a well thought out post, not just complaining because we didn't draft the guy that they wanted. At the end of the day you have to take a risk to get the guy that you believe will turn into a franchise QB, they took Allen over Rosen for a reason, you make some good points. Kudos to you sir.
  7. I wouldn't say giving up zero first round picks this year or next year is "trading the farm" I would have been disappointed if we had to give up #22 or our first next year, but giving up two 2nd round picks in no way constitutes "trading the farm"
  8. Allen could go either way, I don't mind them taking a chance on a guy with the type of potential he has. Out of all the QB's I believe he has the most legit shot of being a superstar. Edmunds is going to be a stud for years to come, we have someone who can cover TE's and someone who can stuff the run. I think we hit a HR with Edmunds and the potential of Allen has me excited. A for the grade.
  9. Loved the value we got at LB, a lot of scouts had him as a top 10 talent.
  10. Cam won an MVP, takes his team to the playoffs regularly and has played in a superbowl. I get that we all want an Aaron Rodgers/Tom Brady QB, but if we get a guy that can regularly give a shot at competing in the playoffs I will take it.
  11. I really hope he justifies the pick, there is something to be said when someone has generational arm talent, but it's a matter of improving his footwork and accuracy. Hopefully his arm strength can make up for some of his other shortfalls. Either way Go Bills
  12. I'm more excited about our LB, a lot of scouts had him as a top 10 talent
  13. I guess by the standard "Anything is possible" argument it could happen, but I don't see how that could really benefit the Browns, they have needs all over the place and would be stupid to move up 2 spots and give up draft capital in the process. I certainly wouldn't move up to select a RB at #2.
  14. At least we are attracting FA's I remember the days of Tyson Clabo watch. Star has gone down the last few years but at least his peak years were with Sean McD coaching him.
