I think everyone played well other than Keenum. That’s the worst performance from a QB in a Bills uniform since Peterman against the chargers. Barkley played well but if anything happens to JA, we’re not winning until he returns.

Pretty obvious it’s not going to happen unless SF eats 70-80% of the cap hit. At that point, why not keep him as your backup. Why would JG restructure his contract for the final year? He can wait a year make his $24M and pick the team he goes to in FA next year….obviously.

Nobody’s in the Jimmy G sweepstakes. He is in the final year of his contract and this year carry’s $28M fully guaranteed. Nobody has room for that and Jimmy would be unwise to budge. He will collect his $ as a backup this year and get a shiny new contract next year as an FA.

Jets sign OT Duane Brown 2 years at 22 million
TheWeatherMan replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
No QB on rookie contract and had a ton of dead cap. Both are not the case for the Jets this year. -
It was a tough choice but AB announces his biggest regret…

Please explain, because I feel like you don’t quite understand what I wrote. Being cocky and arrogant is common amongst WR’s but being a complete loony bin is not. He is beyond narcissistic he is by most counts insane. -

I have no doubt he has always been narcissistic but he is about as emotionally unstable as you can get. He probably belongs in a ward and will most likely end up there or dead. He is a danger to himself and society. -

This is quite sad actually. If not for that hit to the head he took from Burfict 6 years ago, AB very well could have gown down as the all time GOAT at WR. If anything Bills fans should love him because he saved us from making a very big mistake. -

Jets sign OT Duane Brown 2 years at 22 million

Jets had $8.9M cap space before this move. It will be interesting to see how back loaded this contract is. The only major savings they have is cutting Sheldon Rankins which saves $5M. How can this team be that awful, have a QB on a rookie contract and still be up against the cap? 🤮 ✈️ -
NFL Top 100 starts Sunday 14 August 2022 .. Who's your top 10?
TheWeatherMan replied to wjag's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let’s be clear, the Bills defensive play calling ended #17’s season. -
There’s a certain Chiefs RB that was cut for bad behavior that is currently on the Browns roster.

The Best “One Year Wonders” in Bills History
TheWeatherMan replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Terrell Owens played well for the Bills for his one and only year. His career dropped off with the Bengals. -
I think our practice squad will already be solid.

If it’s anything other than indefinite, it’s a bad look for the NFL! Not sure how you can quantify the punishment of a suspected (highly probable) serial sexual predator who has assaulted numerous victims and has shown no sign of remorse. Anyone who has a daughter, wife or mother should be appalled if this guy plays in another down in the NFL. 🤮

I’m replying to TB who clearly stated he couldn’t stay healthy for his entire career. Not the last 2 years. Last year Crowder missed the last 3 games with a calf injury on a 4-13 NYJ team jockeying for draft position.
-
4 games 2020 / 4 games 2021. Fudge the numbers anyway you want he has still played 85% of all games across his career. I’m sure he wasn’t too motivated to come back at the end of the last two seasons when your team completely sucks like the Jets.
-
Over the course of his 7 year career he has played in 97 of 114 possible games (85%). 4 of the 7 years he missed zero games and the last 2 years he missed 4 games each. I don’t agree with your assessment….at all. Plus as mentioned below there is only a $100K cost savings releasing him as he comes with a $1.6M cap hit. All of the other WR’s have no cap hit and save the team $700K-800K.
