Brown have $109M in tied cap charges for Watson, Cooper and Garrett in 2023. For comparison, the Bills have $79M in 2013 cap charges for Allen, Diggs and Miller. $30M more for a QB who may still never play again, a WR who is way over rated and amazing pass rushing talent who is a complete lunatic and a dumb move away from a long term suspension. The way the Bills play coming off a bye week, I would say it is. If we can get through the opening gauntlet we are sitting pretty the second half of the year. IMO the schedule looks favorable since we play all of the playoff teams in the first half of the season before they start to gel.

If we sign Williams to a 1yr $4M is that equivalent to $400K additional cap hit because he is already at $3.6M? If you can get him for <$5M that’s almost a no brainer if the current cap hit is absorbed by the new contract.

Let’s pump the breaks on the potential top 20 CB talk. It’s not normal for CB’s to have immediate impacts their rookie year. I’m thinking we still pick up a solid vet CB before TC. I’m not sure why everyone was so hell bent on drafting a premiere WR, unless you’re not a Gabe fan. The Bills staff loves him, and he will be a part of this teams future.
