The show was pioneering with their humor. I checked YouTube, quite a few shows. The titles of the epsisodes alone show how far ahead they were in making fun of issues.
The list of actors who appeared on the show before they made it in the business is lengthier than I'd remembered.
I liked Buffoone particularly. He tries to act old school with the umps, that era sailed with Jim Leyland.
Billy Martin kicking dirt, Earl Weaver turning his hat around, those were the days.
Would seem unlikely Pierce was running the dealerships. That said, unless they find some financial hanky-panky that he was aware of, I dare say he’s more victim than suspect in this situation.
When I read the thread title I figured it was a pile on hit piece, it really wasn’t though. That said, there’s no end to those who enjoy others misery.
