    He, along with Esther Rolle, were the real stars of Good Times, Dyn-o-mite aside. 🙄 Their portrayals convincingly conveyed the family situation Norman Lear wanted America to see. His was a pioneering type of roll as well as a TV show.

    Off the field I liked him, a great interview. On the field not so much. The sparked that ignited the “Big Red Machine” A definitive all time great.
