Maybe it's age, maybe it's Bills Burnout, but whatever, I get over a game in fast fashion regardless how it went. My wife, thanks to #17, for the 1st time in our marriage wants to watch with me. It's ***** brutal to be honest. So game ends, she's po'd. I say "oh well it was a great game". She snaps "how is it a great game if we lost ?" Is she right?

Footballs structure makes last minute/seconds decision making so intense and dramatic, dare say the most in team sports. Many coaches crack. It's definitely a big part of the games appeal.

That the Sabres had a string of top player malcontents, Vanek, O’Reilly and Eichel, seems unprecedented. Vanek was a crybaby and the other two clearly sent a message that they felt it sucked here. I often wondered how their attitudes reverberated in the locker room and how far it carried league wide as a negative reflection on the Sabres organization. I can’t speak to the integrity of this roster, but there’s a longstanding stigma of some kind here that can’t be shook.
