Thurman was gouging that great defense averaging 9 yards a carry, yet only got 15 carries. Why ? They should have run him more. Also, Norwood was more comfortable kicking long field goals from the other side of the field. They should have gotten the ball over to that side of the field. That's coaching.

It was suspected/obvious(?) at the combine that Lawson had an injured shoulder. He didn't do the bench press at the combine or his Pro Day, unlike Jonah Williams. That drove a lot of fans nuts alone. Add in, as it's looking, many thought he wasn't a 16th overall talent then and which he certainly has not shown yet, with his shoulder repaired.

Dad and the Uncle's got us, as kids, lady fingers, sparklers and Black Cat firecrackers, which inevitably one of us kids held on for too long. That hurt, but no real damage. Holding and throwing a lit firecracker could never hurt an eye. ? The under the influence adults oversaw the silver salute and M-80 explosives. Which led to throwing them near unsuspecting others to scare them and blowing up metal pails, various size cans, including garbage cans. Mind you the can exploding and blowing up was done in the street. .....with kids from the street watching not at safe distances. How no one ever got badly hurt is amazing. The good old days. I always thought the best thing about Buffalo was not having to deal with crowds. It''s gotten a bit worse, but, it still ain't bad at the big events stuff here. Try N.Y.C. Macy's Day Parade, their 4th of July fireworks or the subway to and from Yankee stadium for a Red Sox game. Done 'em all.
