Brought back great memories. Wintertime when streets weren't plowed for hours, sometimes a day after a heavy snowfall and cars packed the snow to near ice like conditions on our dead end street.....tackle football in the street. Another youth street playing memory when they came out with the street hockey ball replacing the too bouncy tennis ball. Lots of guys didn't want to play goalie anymore with just a baseball and hockey glove. Those orange street hockey balls were lethal and worse in the cold.

I've been in different grocery store chains around the country. I pretty much just beeline around them when in them. Never occurred to me Wegmans was unique. Should have bought stock in '77. Same with M&T Bank.

My kid who lives in Brooklyn going on 10 years, has been talking about this Wegmans for like two years. I'm like, seriously ? My friend who hadn't lived here in decades came up for the Miami game and see old sites. Going to Wegmans was a must do....I'm like, seriously ? I went to their carry out Cafe for a sub an hour ago, 1st time ever. Place was mobbed, lines everywhere. I'm like, seriously ?

Been there more times than I care to say. It's barely noteworthy Italian food. Its seems status to blow off one went there. I think due to where it's at. I'll take Chefs, + 3/4 more Italian restaurants locally, any day over that hovel.
