    They put one of those new smart meters on my house when I wasn’t home. Dirty *****! Bill jumped about 25%. I’ve been meaning to call(thanks for the reminder)to see if it can be switched back, but doubt they will. I just asked my wife, she says it’s closer to 40% for each of the two months we’ve had it.

    To a generation I don’t think it a stretch to think many upon hearing the name Norm, this is who pops into their head.

    OKC went and got the one piece they thought they needed, Hartenstein, and it worked. Bills went and got the one piece they thought they needed, Miller, and it did not work. That’s my OKC/Bills analogy.

    Alcohol can lead to pot which can lead to hard drugs which can lead to heavier alcohol and drug use which can lead to legal problems, marital problems and worse…..so I’ve heard.

    Sabres/Leafs games were the best, rowdy crowd, felt like a playoff game. Was my favorite game to go to. Now, nah.

    Amen Brother! In honor of Keon, Ullman, Henderson, Sittler, Salming and the rest of the Leafs I watched through a grainy TV with a roof top antenna, which my father risked his life going up there constantly adjusting it, way back then. You could barely make out the puck some nights. …..and who could not like Howie Meeker and Peter Puck?

    I never bemoaned being a Bills fan. I never had a bad time at a game. I never not drank at a game, except at the games my father took me to at War Memorial.

    Still historic. Never been to Saratoga during race season, kind of regret not doing so. Lost my mojo at this point for that size of a party scene. Drinking and betting is a bad combo for me, it was probably a good thing. Clarkson or St. Lawrence?

    Not a stretch to say it seemed like we had a whole section to ourselves. Game on? Hell no. Party On! Would go down behind visitors bench in the front rows harass the opponent all game. No security to be seen.
